Looking for info/price on how easy it is to Uber from airport to cruise ship?  Will my Uber app I downloaded from USA work in Europe?  Is this the way to transfer to ship or is there a better way?

We had the pleasure of sailing with him in Alaska on The Serenade of the Seas and in the Caribbean on Empress of the Seas, he was very personable! He was off for some time, heard he was very sick. Must be all better now since he's back to work.

I heard Captain Frank is sick, I wish I knew more. We really enjoyed him on several cruises!

Interested in the RCCL Shore Excursion, Sapphire Beach ($39.00) or Secret Sands Beach ($52.00)? Looking for nice swimming beach with shade for a lounge chair, not snorkeling this cruise. Both excursions have an Island Drive and chairs included. Has anyone done one of these or have an opinion? Thank you!

We wound up going to Sandals. It was expensive, but a lovely day. $110/per person. Included drinks and food. The water was a little rough and we did not wind up using any of the water sports. Lots of chairs - both shade and sun. We called from the ship before heading over there. That turned out to be key to being allowed in.

Is Sandals within walking distance from the pier? Can you reserve ahead of time or have to call them when you arrive to the island?
