I truly believe that this virus is going to go away once the warmer weather in Spring and Summer arrive. That is what happened with the SARS virus. I am on a cruise in August and I have every intention of still going. The only way I will not go is if Celebrity cancels or if there are no flights from the US. I am not afraid of traveling to Europe because the virus is already here in the US. At this point, you could be exposed anyplace on Earth so you might as well live and enjoy your life. I refuse to live in fear over something I have no control over.
I could not agree with you more. We cannot live in fear. It also is one's personal choice to choose to travel. I have been getting a lot of back lash from friends and co-workers about this, but I have also received a lot of support from friends and co-workers as well.

I am really glad you posted this.
Setting sail on Silhouette on Sunday and still planning on going unless the US Border is completed closed (I am from Canada) or Celebrity cancels between now and Sunday.
Happy Cursing Everyone !

Was poking around the internet for things to do in Antigua and came across Devil's Bridge. I am a huge sucker for Instagram worthy places and this looks like one.
Has anyone been here? Is it worth making the trip out to see this?

There is also a good documentary on Netflix (at least on the Canadian Netflix) called Panama Canal: Prized Possession.
It is a two-part series about the history of the Canal, then and now. Check it out.

Another great video. They never disappoint and I always look forward to them

That was really cool to watch, thanks for sharing.
How long did it actually take to transit from the Atlantic to the Pacific?
-
As always another great video.

I use to work for Ambassatours, the operator that runs this tour and the Pink Double Decker buses are right out side of the the pier pavilion building.
Hope you enjoy it.

Every cruise needs to do this, regardless of itinerary. Maybe its the poutine loving Canadian in me that thinks this is a great idea.

WAIT WHAT !!!
So why is Anthem of the Seas coming to Halifax. I live like a 10 min walk from the Pier.
This is really cool actual. I'll see if I will be able to stay up late enough to see you guys.

the only thing missing (imho), is it being a salt water pool!
I have to disagree and I live near the ocean, I much prefer Chlorine pools.
-
I prefer the Solarium over the outside Lido Deck pools, as I find it is usually less busy or has no one in it. This was my experience while on Silhouette last March. We also found that around dinner time was the best because most people were eating.

I can't believe how many planes approach!
Unfortunately, the day when we visited St Marten in 2013, it rained.
We were on a coach tour on our previous visit in 2002, so only stopped at the airport for a short while to watch just one plane land, so thank you for the experience.
Thanks, I am glad I was able to give you the true Maho Beach experience.

Here is my second video from my Eastern Caribbean cruise onboard Celebrity Silhouette.
Hope you enjoy :D

I have finished my Maho Beach video to go along with my video collection from the cruise. I do find it easier to do shorter videos then then the long ones but that will be coming.
Here is the video check it out and let me know what you think.
Enjoy

Here is a video from Sky Safari Ziplining Tours in St. Kitts. Was here in March 2015 while onboard Celebrity Silhouette. I have been meaning to post the video here so hope you all enjoy.

Really cool video, glad that you had a good trip here to Halifax. I can't believe you walked all the way from the Pier to Fairview Lawn, that is a bit of a hike.
Really like the effect you used in the video for the photos, what editing software do you use and what is that effect called.

I prefer Tuscan over Qsine, any day.

Last winter we flew down the day of. The charter airlines was Canadian North (5T) and was a Boeing 676 (B767) 3-3 config on the plane. Cabin crew were awesome both ways and we got the celebrity experience from gate to stateroom. The package last year did not include hotel we flew into Miami (MIA).
Would have rathered flew out of Halifax (YHZ) as YHZ as US Customs Pre-Clearance and Moncton (YQM) does not, as we had to do US Customs in MIA which was just long.
Hope this help. Check out the following review for more on the charter experience.

Hey,
My favourite restaurant in all Halifax is actually like less then 10 min walk from the port.
The Henry House Restaurant & Pub, 1222 Barrington Street. Just two streets up from the port.
I have included a link of the location.
A place to be optimistic!
