  1. Following along bc I’m interested in all things Glory! My 3 sisters and all the husbands are sailing Sept 11. Although my husband and I have cruised many times in the past it’s first time cruisers x4 and second time cruisers x2 in our group. This is our first time cruising from NOLA and first time on the Glory.

  2. Just off B2B on Conquest Nov. 19-Dec. 3. Our take on bars:

    1. Alchemy (5 aft). Vera, Anton and Zeljana were the best! So friendly and fun. They make great drinks too.

    2. Artists Bar (3 forward). Pari and Arie were friendly and fast with wine, soft drinks or whatever cocktail we ordered. Live music and trivia were enjoyable too.

    3. Pool bar (9 aft). I Ketut makes the best spicy bloody Mary's on the ship. It's busy but bartenders are fast and courteous.

    4. Serenity bar (12 forward). Open limited hours with a special menu although they will make anything you request. I don't recall the young lady's name but she was very friendly and always smiling.

    5. The Point steakhouse bar (10 mid). Open in the evenings and you can go to bar without having a steakhouse reservation. They have some very nice cocktails and better wines.

We had Cheers program for both cruises and totally enjoyed all the bars, bartenders and bar servers.

  3. Husband and I have three cruises booked for November and we have been unsuccessful at finding the newer dining room menus for them. Zydocruiser website is mostly the old menus.

Does anyone have menus for these?

Elation - 5 day from JAX (HMC and Nassau)

Conquest - 6 day from FLL (Amber Cove, GT, HMC, Nassau)

Conquest - 8 day from FLL (St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan, GT)

    Many thanks!

  4. We met head waiter Bogdan (Romania) and assistant waiter Nik (Philippines) in May 2014 on the Carnival Sunshine. They were so outstanding and our experience with them in the dining room is one of our favorite memories. Has anyone recently had servers with these names? If so, when and what ship? Thanks!

  5. DH and I did a B2B in mid February, our first time on the Conquest. We loved this ship! Cruise director Mike Pack is high energy and very entertaining. His nightly music trivia in the atrium bar is not to be missed. The live music was the best we have experienced in most of our 10 cruises. Band #SixAppeal was a lot of fun and we felt like friends after enjoying their themed shows over 14 days. Woodstock, British Invasion, Motown, etc. The food was plentiful and good. MDR service was hit and miss, but the level of service we expect is quite high due to Bogdan and Nik, our most favorite severs ever from our May 2014 cruise on the Sunshine. Had splendid bar service from Imade (the best Bloody Mary ever) and Inyoman in the atrim bar.

The ship seemed to be in good repair. There is no Serenity area but we thoroughly enjoyed the aft pool area with its retractable roof. Our interior cabin was very adequate for our needs. Can't speak to spa or children's program.

We would certainly cruise on the Conquest again. Fort Lauderdale is a nice port and we had no problems. Hope this helps!
