Hi stevedeccaman, We boarded Dream 7th September 2016.When we reached cabin there was a bottle of "bubbly" in ice bucket waiting for us,also chocolates. In the past we have had a couple £25 vouchers. There was also a letter thanking us for returning. Mind you, we have been on Dream six times and will be returning next September. There will be something in between but not sure what yet.

Just back off dream week past Friday. Great time, great shows, great staff.
Lot of crew i knew gone, but still knew some,Lee Roy Brown,Geronimo and one or two more. Could not berth in Syros due to wind so Captain took us to Rhodes instead, cheers all round! Dreading departing Corfu Airport but no problems. We boarded first bus from ship to airport,as we were early were first in queue and under canopy.Stood half hour, straight through weigh in and x-ray,found seats, plane on time, arrived back Newcastle half hour early.
Relief all around. When we arrived in cabin, bottle of "bubbly" and chocs on table with note welcoming us back again. A lovely gesture, much appreciated.

ps. Have booked on to Dream again for next September, same fortnight.

Thankyou fellow cruisers. Let us hope we are there early. Why can't it be like Dubrovnik and Barbados,no bother at all there. Think we will use homeport of Newcastle for next cruise, into Baltic. Not a "bronzy" cruise, but interesting.
Thanks again,Shellsailor.
PS. Cruising Dream,2nd Sept, not long now. :):):)

Friends just back off Celebration noticed people using e cigarettes in non smoking areas including show hall. Vapour off these not good, surely should be confined to smoking areas.

Booked on Majesty for 23rd Feb/8th March.
Due to family death had to return early. Social and Welfare Manager on ship was fantastic, organising our return on 29th Feb from Gran Canaria on Thomson flight to Newcastle. Top marks to Joana Fisher for her help.:):)

Croatian Kuna no bother. Exchange place and banks plenty. Will also change Euro. Better rate ashore.
Done this one last year, only more Croatian ports then.
Enjoy,

Hi all-afloaty,Just returned after visiting Dubrovnik on Celebration. No ship shuttle now.
Taxi was 13 euro per car, local bus cheap, but can be crowded on way back to ship. Dubrovnik is a lovely city, enjoy.

Just back after cruising Malta,Venice and Croatian coast. This was a fantastic
cruise, one of the best i reckon. Dream does part of same next year, thinking of doing that. Monday we booked on Majesty for Canaries 23rd Feb for two weeks. Back into stride after absence of eighteen months due to illness.

Hi Villalady, We were on 9 last year, good size cabin but noise from deck 10 can be a bit much at times. The worst was when tables were re-arranged on a morning EARLY!! and food trolleys trundling across deck. The evenings were not bad as we are late night birds on holiday.

Hi Folks, Little bit of news about balconies. In the April edition of SHIPS MONTHLY news states that CELEBRATION,SPIRIT AND MAJESTY are going to have 26,19 and 28 balconies fitted respectively. We know CELEBRATION is done, wonder when others to be done. SPIRIT probably same as CELEBRATION but where for MAJESTY i wonder.

H i Jim the Scot, How are you ? Talked to you last year when we were booked on Spirit October through Med. We had to cancel due to family sudden death. On Celebration this Friday. Not bothered about AI as we
saved £1,000 by booking late. We are thinking about booking for Thomson through David Urqhuart next time as they advertise AI on most of Thomson cruises, up till now that is. It may be worth thinking about.
Regards, Shellsailor.

Hi Dingadong , We arrive airport 14.20 from Newcastle for same.
Airport to Santa Cruz is 63 kilo. With on time landing and a bit of luck
leaving port quickly, journey should be approx one hour give or take. Then check in,who knows how long for that. Fingers crossed it's done quickly. Enjoy holiday,we are on for two weeks.

Will be doing our ninth cruise with Thomson 28th Feb on Celebration. The only trouble was a couple of years ago on Celebration as i have already posted.
Never had trouble on any of other ships and saw very little anywhere, even on Dream in first season, when there were lots of complaints from "nitpickers looking for compensation". In my opinion one of the worst offenders are the ice cubes in drinks. We never use these, even in hotels. Buckets of cubes with hands diving in for ice, "YUCK" no thanks !!
Still looking forward to 28th Feb,despite all negative reports.
