The Holiday season is right around the corner and set to begin on board following Thanksgiving. Each ship will begin their holiday activations the day they receive their holiday décor on board. The holiday celebrations will include:

Operation Happy Holidays (Holiday Cards for Crew Members)
 

3 days until we board Carnival Inspiration !

10 days until we get on board the Inspiration for a weekend of craziness...and its a full moon !

Just booked last week..2 weeks to go...2nd time on the Inspiration in less than a year...This time I am purchasing the FTTF option and eager to see how that goes, planning on getting to the ship by Noon and see how fast we get on.

Also celebrating a birthday and ordered up the Birthday Celebration...will document how that looks

Love the Cheers programs and all the Carnival Fun....can you tell I am excited ?

Maybe you are thinking of Claudia...she is from the Ukraine I believe...she is a great bartender !

Love the Pizza, the Guys Burger Bar, and the Cheers program....all drinks...Lattes at the coffee bar...all bottled drinks...love it !

2 weeks until I board...trying First to the Fun and maybe behind the scene s tour

I am going on this cruise for the second time in less than a year. I have not done the Catalina the 4 day, but I am sure the stop in Catalina would be fun...on the flip side, on the first cruise we didn't get off the ship in Ensenada, just stayed on board and sat by the pool and had everything to ourselves..

I enjoy everything that carnival has to offer, I go for fun and atmosphere on the ship, not to hang out in my room, so I am not sure why passengers get all worked up about room size.

Want to cruise? I say YES to Carnival

Before it gets lost among the haters, I'll type my thoughts.

 

I may be wrong, but I feel like Carnival is a "starter" cruise line...one for those to take a first cruise who aren't sure if a cruise is for them. A lower cost may sway them in that direction. Also, Carnival does not have all the "bells and whistles" of higher-priced cruise lines.

 

Others include internet access, but it was paid for in the cost of the cruise. Others may include some form of drink package, alcoholic or not, but that is included within the cruise fare. There may me some that have butler service (I don't know). Etc., etc., etc...

 

As to my experiences:

I find the food, for the most part, to be quite good.

I find the cabins, though smaller than a hotel room, to be adequate and comfortable.

I find the entertainment/activities to be plentiful and fun.

I find the prices for drinks/shopping to be comparable to resort destinations.

And I find the service and attitude I have experienced from the staff and crew to be top-notch.

 

Again, these are my experiences. I'm sure the others will chime in with opposing views, but that's fine.

Most cruises have a get together for solo cruisers. It should be listed in the daily program.

My first solo cruise....I was reluctant to book it, but as the date gets closer I am getting ready to go...

Greetings Everyone...venturing out on a solo cruise on Carnival Victory on July 14 out of Port Canaveral, it's a Yay Me Cruise..post divorce...

Any tidbits other single cruisers can offer up would be appreciated..

And another thing...I created a Roll Call for that cruise and no one has checked in..is that normal?
