I enjoyed your review and all the information and pictures have helped us know what to expect and what to plan. We leave out Monday morning to head to the port for our cruise on the Enchantment. Once I got to Orlando I shared the pictures and information with my BFF Karen and she is ready to go NOW as she keeps saying LOL. I got our clothes ironed tonight and think most of my stuff is packed. Of course tomorrow I will unpack that suitcase and repack it just to make sure, I'm a bit weird about that for some reason.

Girl you have no idea how much I am enjoying your review! I called my friend Karen today and was telling her all these different things about the cruise and she was so glad I had read all the great things. We are so excited about going and we still have a week before we leave! I will be checking back tomorrow for sure. Oh and thanks for the info about the the straw market! In the afternoons I do counseling at an ICF/MR and one of the residents shares her popcorn with me at the 2pm break and I want to find something to bring back to her as a thank you.

I'll be on this cruise on the 17th and am so ready to get out to the warmth and sea! I love your review and it has given me some great ideas about what to do while my friend and I are on the cruise. Glad they have a comedian as we love those.

Having the pictures and map of Coco Cay is fabulous, along with the fantastic tip about eating early!

After doing some math and figuring what we have spent on past cruises my friend and I have purchased the Premium package. I am quite sure we will get our money's worth and it will be nice not having the bill at the end and wondering how much it is going to be.

Thank you so much for the fast replies! We are really excited about the drink packages now! Our biggest expense is always the drinks since we don't do excursions and just like to do our own thing at the ports. I told her "well if we don't like Nassau we can always go back to the ship and drink!" LOL

My friend and I will be going in 12 days on the Enchantment to the Bahamas for the 4 day cruise and we were debating about the drink package and after going through all the posts we are on board for the drink package!

I do have one question though...

We have a stop in Coco Cay and I was wondering if anyone knows if the drinks on the private islands are included in the package. Any information is greatly apprediated!

We will be on Enchantment on 3/24, when are you sailing? I'm interested in comparing her to the Oasis/Allure to see if I enjoy the smaller ships as much as I enjoy those two. I tend to get sea sick so smaller ships have not been a big draw for me, but since it's only a 4-day cruise I thought I'd give it a try. We live 25 minutes from Port Canaveral and decided that Enchantment would be convenient for the experiment!

We will be on the 3/17 sailing. It's nice that my friend lives so close to the port and makes it nice for us to take a vacation within my vacation LOL. We used the off port parking last time and it was a lot cheaper and wasn't inconvenient at all. I got sea sick on my first cruise but we had really rough seas and a lot of people got sick. I do take ginger capsules the morning of leaving and keep them with me if I feel I need them but so far I haven't had any problems since that first cruise in 2011.

Thank you for the review and the awesome pictures! My friend Karen and I will be sailing on the EN in March. We sailed out of Galveston a few years ago on the Navigator but this will be our first time on RCI out of PC. We started to go with a Carnival cruise again but chose RCI because we feel they are better ships and they don't skimp alcohol in the drinks, at least they didn't on the Navigator.
