  1. If your ship goes into the Brooklyn port for New York you can take the New York Ferry that is very close to the ship to get to the Wall Street station. When you disembark the ship go to the taxi line, face the ship and look to your right. You will see a small flag (blue and pink I think) and that is where you board. The fare is $2.75 each way. It was very a very convenient and inexpensive way to get into the city.

  2. We were on the Crown Princess in October and unfortunately that tender process was not a positive experience. The cruise line did use one of the large vessels from Bar Harbor and the other vessels were the lifeboats from the ship. For some reason things ran very, very slowly and people were waiting for long periods of time to go ashore.
