  1. My daughter is potty trained but tell me this.....where do these little ones get to play then? They can't do splash area which is for kids and the cant go in the kids pool. There is no kiddie pool for these children so too bad?? These children should be able to enjoy their cruise as well...they paid just like you and I, kids don't get discounts. Swim diapers hold in stool, most you would get in the pool is a little diluted urine...big deal that's what the chemicals are for. Let the babies play.

  2. One thing I loved about cruising was that it was connection free, meaning that no cell phones, computers etc. I loved that it was just face to face time and spending time with each other.

Do you notice a lot more people with their faces buried in their phones, ipads etc since the wifi package? I hope this isn't the case :(

  3. Excuse my ignorance but which side is which? I believe I am booked on the left side of the ship. In Bermuda is the left side facing the dock or ocean? I think I saw a pic with the left side facing the dock, which makes me sad because I wanted to face the ocean and have privacy while sitting on my balcony.

  4. My Mom just returned from a Carnival cruise and told me that they confiscated her water. (She had brought a 12 pack and put a luggage tag on it). The line is no longer allowing water to be brought on board because people were smuggling in clear liquor. They did however offer a 12 pack of water on board for only $3.

Does NCL still allow water to be brought on board and if not do you know if they offer discounted water like Carnival? (If anyone has information about the Breakaway specifically that would be great).

  5. I went to Tobacco Bay beach when we visited Bermuda and I liked it. It is a very small beach and the water has no waves, you can walk out very far. There is a cliff to jump off of if you are adventurous. I Jumped but I was so scared but it was fun! There are bathrooms and a little food shack with tables. A short walk and you are at Fort St. Catherine's beach which is a natural beach with no facilities. But it is only a short walk back to Tobacco bay. We ventured over to St. Catherine's beach for a bit then went back to Tobacco Bay. Overall it was a great day. We actually walked from the Ferry uphill to the beach, it is a walk but there is so much to see on the way.
