ride sas was brilliant. they responded quickly to my reservation. they called me when i for to the airport and we happened to line up perfectly time wise. i called them when they had to stop disembarkation to let them know what was up and they were waiting for me when i got off the boat.

 

the only thing i would change is the air freshener in the van, butt hat's a personal issue, i find airfreshners as headache triggers, and it was quite strong. but on the flip side, it's better than a sour wet smelling van on a raining florida morning.

 

will use them again.

What time did you disembark. We don't want to get off too early

I was on the Jewel and the ship goes into glacier bay. We chose the jewel because of the times we were in ports.

Someone on Facebook is reporting that someone went overboard on the Sensation and that everyone is going through Security again to scan their card to see who is missing. The coast guard is on the way. Speed is only 3.2 knots.

A friend of my husband is on that ship and he posted on FB that they are searching

Ask if they have a children's menu. Maybe there is a burger or chicken fingers

My husband had the sea glass in his shorts pocket. I only took about 10 pieces not a bag full.

We were on the Star in a mini suite. There are no outlets near the night stands. I brought a alarm clock, I needed to use the extension cord because if it was on vanity and couldn't see the time without putting on my glasses. We used it for the laptop, camera, iPad,clock,and cell phones. We didn't have an outlet on the desk.

Make sure you bring a multiple outlet extension cord. In our mini suite there was only 1 110 outlet. I did bring a multiple outlet extension cord. There was a few 220 outlets so if you have a converter bring it.

I would also like to thank 32n64w for the great directions to sea glass beach! The pictures really helped and we got TONS of sea glass! Just one note-as we were walking toward the steps, a local guy on a scooter stopped, asked us what we were trying to find, and told us it was shorter to take the path behind the small convict cemetary(you'll see the sign). This leads right to the beach!

thank you for that info, I will be going in a couple of weeks. I hope there is still sea glass!
