What app?

I'm thinking of taking the 10 day Hawaii cruise but having a hard time imagining 5 consecutive days at sea. Thoughts?

We did Hawaii 14nt a few years ago, from Long Beach on Summit. Yes, several sea days in each direction, but that alone helped with time changes (we're east coast people), clocks set back an hour each day, so when we got to Honolulu we weren't jet-lagged. Same thing on return. Activities onboard were Hawaiian themed. Hula lessons, lei making class, speaker with presentation on history and culture. I'd do it again.

We are booked on Reflection 3/11/19. Last Celebrity cruise was Eclipse in '13. They were remodeling the old terminal then. What's the terminal status now? And parking?

We have friends who have recently returned from the 10n Equinox Caribbean w/overnight in St. Maarten. They booked onboard for next year. They raved about Blu, citing dine when you wish (no "seating" like MDR), and unlimited drinks (beer/wine/spirits) as well as the menus. We are considering this for '17, but I can't find menus anywhere, or the unlimited beer/wine/spirits, or "anytime" seating. We ordinarily book in CC, and would happily join them in AQ if what they say is true, but I'd like some validation before doing that.

We were on Eclipse on the 3/9 cruise. I was expecting loud music from previous reviews I read, but didn't notice it, even in the MDR. I could hear the people at the next table, and the person across the table from me could hear me, and I him. However-----I did get tired of Norah Jones, although I do like her style. Her music was played on the deck 15 aft bar ALOT.

I read with interest many comments about the loud music prior to my Eclipse cruise and made a mental note to see what I thought about it during my cruise.

 

Loud music in the dining room? Not loud to me. Loud music anywhere else in the ship? Not in my opinion. Except for the last cast show: Eclipse, the Show. I found no theme to this performance with the performers singing over and over again: Maya. (Or at least I thought that was what they were singing.) With each chorus, the music became increasingly loud. And for what purpose? Maybe someone can give me a heads-up as to what that show was about.

 

Maybe music is like opinions of a ship's cuisine: it is subjective.

Good to read a 100% positive review. We're sailing on her 3/9 and watched her sail off for the last time before we go (portevergladeswebcam.com) yesterday. Now we are terminally excited! I thought the Constellation and Summit were beautiful, but after reading your post, I'm looking forward to being amazed all over again! Thanks!:cool:
