  1. Hi all, we are currently on route to Gibraltar the sea is lovely and calm but unfortunately it is cold, just 12 degrees. Pretty much no one has ventured outside today so the Royal promenade etc has been really busy.

We had breakfast in the windjammer this morning, the food was great. We got there pretty early around 7.30am by the time we left 8.45am there were no tables left and a lot of people walking around looking for a table [emoji51].

The little one had her first adventure in the Kids club, it was all going so well until she wanted weeee weeeee but didn't tell anyone and just cried so we got the call and went and got her. We also had lunch in the Windjammer and the same situation people looking for tables. This must be because the weather is so poor and everyone is inside the ship with no one being on deck.

Tonight is the first formal evening so I will soon be heading back to the cabin to put my Tux on [emoji106]🏻

If anyone has any questions please ask. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I will continue to Scope as much as possible.

Thanks so much for your reviews. I havent the foggiest what you mean when you talk about "periscope" so would appreciate if you could upload some pics onto here.

We are on this ship 18th June and so looking forward to it. Any information will be appreciated. We have heard that the cup-cake service has been replaced with a "pie" shop can you confirm this and if so what types of "pies". Looking forward to more reviews.

  2. OK I hold my hands up, I am one of those lurkers.

I visit CC on a almost daily basis and love reading most of the threads. I am fairly new to cruising and only been on 3 before with my next one being on IOS in June this year.

Up to now I have posted a few times on CC and been to all three M&Ms the best one being on Anthem last year, and the main reason for that was that a number of CC members went out of their way and organised a number of private excursions and cabin crawls ect, almost all of the cruisers who attended the M&M appeared to enjoy themselves and certainly did a lot of mingling. For me one of the best results of this was it was great to walk around the ship and often say Hi or have someone say Hi to us, we felt as if we were an inclusive group of passengers.

As far as CC is concerned I have asked a few questions and in the main received knowledgeable and friendly answers but have also observed some very catty and critical dialogue between certain members which sometimes have been difficult to watch. It is at this time I tend to "lurk" rather than partake. However I have been informed that the cruise I am on 18th June 2016 has now reached the magic figure of 25 so our M&M can now go ahead.

  3. Just been on the Anthem of the Seas for the naming Ceremony and have to say she is wonderful

Best ship we have been on to date.

Yes we had one or two minor issues but what a wonderful experience and the crew are just great so full of joy really loving their job and their work.

Hope it lasts for all to enjoy this summer.

The food was to die for.

Even had kettles in all the Staterooms.

The Godmother was delightful and she is a Makem too.

Hi Missus Makkem, I am also a Makem and sad person that I am, I am happy to hear there is a kettle in the state rooms ( that morning cuppa is vital) Me and OH are off for 16 nights on this beautiful ship from May 6th. We are really looking forward to it and so pleased to hear some positive reviews.
