I believe 11:45 is accurate. We had FTTF on the 1/7 sailing.

Did anyone notice that the original post is from 2014? Someone has dug up an old thread where some things are no longer very accurate.

I surprised my mom with a cruise for Mother's Day. She lives out of town, so every time I'd talk to her I'd tell her things she should pack due to the weather or and to bring something dressy for "Mother's Day" dinner.
I purchased a customized scratch off ticket from Etsy that said "You are going on a cruise". I did a scavenger hunt so the last item was the scratch off ticket.
She was very surprised, especially when I told her that we were flying to port the next day. She was worried if she had packed properly. When I reminded her I told her what to bring.

Thank you!! Thank you!! Got what I needed to pay off my cruise!

I got a call last Friday for my august cruise. Was an upgrade from ocean view to balcony. It was cheaper than current rates so I took it!!
They are busy!!

Sold out!! Maybe I'll catch the late refill.

I can't handle the the stress of same day flying. I am constantly checking the flight status for any delays, panicking over lines that aren't really that bad and in an all around tizzy until I lay eyes on the ship.
The day before is just more relaxed because my mindset is I have nothing but time.

WAKE UP EVERYONE!!!! Gift cards are back!!!!!

This was my favorite itinerary yet. I had often wondered why people would want to repeat the same exact itinerary but this is one of those for me. Each port had so much to do that I'd like to go back to experience different things.
San Juan is a port in itself. Do a pre- or post-cruise stay to enjoy it.
Although, I had visited two of the ports before, I can't wait for the opportunity to do this one again.
If you cruise for the ports and excursions, you will love it! Very port intensive, I wished the sea day was towards the end instead of the beginning.

I think I ordered the wrong Guy's Burger. On my last cruise they pulled out a whole tray of patties. The opposite of hot and fresh, it tasted a bit opposite of that as well.

You may still have time for lunch on port days. Many times out early morning excursions had as back by 1pm. Back on the ship for lunch then we'd leave again to check out the port shops before our ships departure time.

Yes, if you are cruising out of a port that has instituted the staggered check-in times. If your port of embarkation has not, the option will not be available.
I'm cruising out of Miami this summer. As soon as I booked, I checked the site. I was able to select a check-in time. I'm glad I checked I had not heard it was instituted in Miami. I got 10:30am.

Darn I missed them. Have to get in the habit of checking early each morning I guess.
If you live on the west coast, checking late at night is best. This is the second time I have caught them late at night. They are usually gone before the west coast wakes up in the morning.

Gift cards are available both $100 & $500. I'm saving up!!

We use Bonine and supplement it with ginger pills, gum and candy.
The secret is to take it two days before you board so the medicine is in your system before you need it.
Usually one is enough, but I take two for upcoming sea days.

Oh boy! I keep getting notifications thinking the cards are available! We need a separate thread for discussions cause I'm obsessed with finding them right now with final payment approaching in a few months. You guys are driving me crazy! Lol. Ok rant over.

I wish I got a notification. Replying and subscribing doesn't seem to work.

I think it's due more personal choice as to one's diet.
Some people love eating such high-calorie, low-nutrition items, I don't.
I think it depends on if they have ever had a Real cake pop before. I don't think the ones on Carnival are even cake. Certainly not comparable to a home made cake pop.
I've seen them a few times on the Lido during lunch. I tasted them but as others said they were not good enough to even waste the calories.

On my cruise last month they just counted the number of people. I wondered how they would know who skipped. I guess the stewards could check the staterooms but I am sure one could find some place to hide that is easily overlooked in a cursory check if they were determined.

I mentioned this on another thread but I feel not many people know this so it bears repeating
these deposit sales are great but if you price match to a lower price, you will lose this sale and immediately need to pay for the standard deposit right away or they will cancel your cruise.
They also dont always tell you this and some people find out too late.
So if you price match, please know you will pay the full deposit.
I booked on Monday and the price dropped Thursday. I was able to price match without the full deposit because of the reduced deposit sale!
