  1. Hope you have a great cruise. We are currently booked for NYE, looking forward to see the changes after the revitalization. Hope you can bring some info back to us about those changes. :):)

Hi there, we have booked the NYE Cruise as well, I have noticed there isn't a Roll Call as yet? Is that because there is not usually a lot of regular CC people on this type of cruise?

We felt we needed to book early, given we are coming from the other side of the world. Going to spend soem time on the mainland as well, couldn't really justify coming all that way for a 7 day cruise. Have only been on HA previously.

  2. Great review, just booked the Adventure for NYE 2014-15. :):)

    Hi Drarill,

Yours is the first comment I have seen regarding the 2014/15 NYE Cruise. We have tentatively booked this same cruise, but since we are coming from across the other side of the earth just wanted to check that the NYE Cruise in the Caribbean is worth it?

We're planning to be in NYC fro XMas then do this cruise and a few days in Florida before heading back "Down Under". Have only done HA Cruises before, so wanted to try a different Cruise Line this time.

    Cheers

  3. I just wanted to add to this thread as I organised a tour for 8 in our recent HAL Cruise on Niew Amsterdam.

We too had Vinny as our Driver, who was fantastic. He got us to Pisa before any of the buses and took us into Florence via the Winery Region.

He was able to get us straight inot eh Accademia, even getting pass those waiting outside who had purchased 'skip the line' tickets.

As mentioned by another poster, he took us to a Cellar Restaurant, which was magnificent (all 8 of us ate for a total of 76Euro!)

Van was lamost new and very comfortable.

If you get Vinny, make sure he also takes you to his favourite ice cream shop too, ah Venchi!!!!!!

Value of this tour was undoubted as we spent less than the people who just used the ships transfer into Florence and were left to their own devices.

    Highly recommend.
