Hi! Thanks to all that they help me with my doubt and questions about Uber.

I use it for my first time last week and I'm very happy for choosing this way to transfer between airport to hotel to port and port again.

Uber app for iPhone is very easy to use!

I write here my experience about km, prices and rides so maybe it can help other of you.

Sunday ride between Miami airport to hotel in Pompano Beach:

Monday ride between hotel in Pompano to Port Everglades (terminal 25 Royal Caribbean):

Saturday ride between Port Everglades (terminal 25 Royal Caribbean) + stop at hotel near Miami Intl airport (for pick up of a friend) and then go to Port of Miami (Celebrity Reflection)

Definitively very happy for the service I had and for very clean cars and good drivers!

My advise would be to rent a car-they are very affordable-you can drop off at the airport and get a free shuttle to the port-The Ft lauderdale airport is 5-10 minutes away from the port

Hi Harry and thank you for you suggestion. I was in 2013 exactly in the situation you describe (we cruised on Oasis) but I was with a friend and with him we took a car and then the shuttle... and so... all good...

But honestly this time, because I'm tired, and I'm traveling alone, I prefer to take a cab or Uber so I have no problems, nothing to worry.... they just drop off me where I need :P

Uber drivers do this drive every day, all day long. Uber is much cheaper than a cab.

I downloaded the Uber app for iPhone and I can understand if I can use my pre-payed credit card (MasterCard) or not.

 

After that I need again your help about using Uber

 

The 27th I'll arrive at Miami airport and I have to go in Pompano Beach for one night stay before sailing the 28th from Port Everglades onboard the Independence of the Seas.

 

Do you think I can use Uber for those transfers? I'm traveling alone, it worth much than a cab/taxi or not?

Just been on the phone to MSC in the UK and have been told this match is only available to US and Brazilian cruisers not those in the rest of the world.

It's incorrect... I live and I'm Swiss citizen, I wrote an email to MSc Italy for asking some information and they said to me how to do...

After that, I sent my form and now I'm waiting an answer to know which level/status they will give me. Moreover I participate in an Italian cruise forum and I know that for a lot of users they give a match (for example with Costa cruisers members...)

So, I'm sure that this match is available for other people, not only US, Brazilian or UK...

At this moment I'm just curious to discover what status they give my, because I'm Diamond on Royal and I have no idea about about their response

I'll be onboard Mariner of the Seas, for three consecutives "short" cruises (B2B2B) starting from Singapore next 26th December.

Please, could someone tell me if onboard Mariner they sell any internet packages "unlimited" valid for the whole duration of the cruise?

Consecutive cruises are: 3+5+5 nights... I suppose I have to buy a package for every leg... or not?

I would be interested to know the prices, so, If anyone knows the rates for cruises of 3 days and 5 days also makes me a big favor.

I have some more questions or doubts:

1) I was wondering if for each cruise I have to print luggage tags (although my cabin remains the same so I think I'll don't move my stuff during all three cruises). Of course I'll print the Tags for the first legs yes... but what I have to do for the others two legs? have to put the Tags even if my luggage will not be moved?

2) I have already booked (and paid for) some excursions through the cruise planner. What happens if I want to cancel one even during a cruise? how should I do it?

3) I also booked the MyTime dining so I could feel more free during my vacation ... I wonder though if I had the need, on board I can still change them or not?

Remember that if you have sailed on one line and are booking a cruise on the other line, you must enroll in the new program, it isn't automatic that they will know that you are in the other line's program. If you have sailed on Royal, call Celebrity's Captain's Club and give them your C & A number.

Yes for the moment I only have sailed on Royal... But the day I'll decide to book with Celebrity I'll follow your good suggestion. Thankyou !

Best perk for us is the nightly cocktails. Unlimited in the Diamond Lounge, or otherwise 3 per sea pass card per evening to use at various bars around the ship.

I'm solo traveller and because I'm not sure to understand every word or explanation in English I receive onboard (I speak Italian and I try to speak or understanding English but sometimes it's hard for me, sorry) ill ask to you here...

About beverages, you know if this perks are for all cruises and all ships? When you tell about drinks or cocktails you mean every type or only non-alcoholics?

Eventually someone can say to me if it's possible to know what perks I have (at beginning of a cruise) using interactive tv?

Ohhhhh...!! Very sorry to hear that Majesty will leave Royal... I sailed on her last June and I loved her a lot, but.... because I came on purpose to the Bahamas and for me are so many flight hours to reach America... I ask sorry to all of you but I'm very happy she will coming in Europe and maybe with only one or two hours I'll have a new opportunity in the future for to have a nice cruise onboard her Majesty, also if she will be a Pullmantour ship

Well everyone thanks for going on this journey with me. I just got my cabin and it is a JS on the hump on deck 10. So this is a win for me, wish I could have landed that gold card room but I guess the revenue dept got people to upsell their rooms. For me I went from deck 8 ocean balcony to deck 10 hump JS for no extra cost. Can you say "winning".

Hi everyone,

I read here of people who have had an upgrade with Royal and I'm glad ... between all of my friends or people I know through forums no one has ever had an upgrade and I was beginning to believe that with RCCL really rarely happen!

I remain, however, a couple of things that I did not understand:

- it is possible that the upgrade arrivals even after the final payment?

- We can see on our account Crown & Anchor if they gave us an upgrade?

- In case of a upgrade (for example) from balcony to JS we earned double points or not?

- It is possible that the upgrade is given to those who wait until the last moment before completing the online check-in?

Please have your agency check all your cruises as we just had a reduction in price for a cruise at the end of this year. It was not as great a sale as 2015 sailings but have them check anyways.
