Right now there is no priority boarding unless you have a suite. Platinum & Diamond get to check in 2 days before anyone else though. You xan still drop your bags off, but your room most likely will not be ready before 1:30

If this is true then it makes more sense. I was wondering how someone falls overboard, if not sitting, climbing, or standing on the railings.

We just upgraded to a balcony on Deck 11 on the Valor. The pictures I'm seeing show a sliding door on these balconies instead of a regular door.
Can anyone confirm or deny this?
-
This is a question for anyone that has eaten at the steakhouse recently (preferably on the Valor)...
Is the Waygu available? I know with supply chain issues it might not be. Just wanted to know a recent experience. We have reservations on the Valor our first night.

If you are good with just a few types of drinks go for it. The draw of cheers for me is the wide variety of drinks that can be had. It allows me to step out of my comfort zone and try things I usually wouldn't. I mean who wants to spend $10-12 on a drink you end up hating.

wow yeah I’ve never seen them deny those before. But as I learned with the panorama comedy club, different ships are doing some things differently.Yeah I remember them not letting us customize pizza on the Dream a few years ago. I think it really depends on the crew

One last question. I saw some pictures on the staterooms. Are there really USB ports on the bedside tables now?

Did they not have the section of the menu based on port of call?
But Yay!!!! Bitter & Blanc. We always miss it.

Right now *only* suite guests get priority boarding. Platinum & Diamond only get to check in 2 days early, so they get first dibs on embarking time.
But if you are a suite guest you get on first.

Health questionnaire or vaccine testation?
Vaccine attestation is about 90 days before sailing. Health Questionnaire is about 72 hours prior to sailing.

I made a game up for our next cruise. I'm like you and really haven't had much, but since we have Cheers this is what we are going to do.... Throughout our cruise we are going to visit every bar/lounge and order 1 drink from their particular specialty menu. This way I'm "forced" to try new things.. and with Cheers I don't have to really worry about not liking it, I just have to try it.

You had a different experience than me then. I watched them fill the glass with ice and pour straight from a jug.
Was this at the pub (usually on the promanade) or the bar (on the lido)?
I ask because the one on the Lido does premix and pours from a jug. The Pub is made fresh.

Depending on the port, its great fun to walk around. Some Ports are great others really stink.

No, you'll lose any promotions associated with the cancelled cruise.
I was planning on using the same promotion. They offer it on the ships out of New Orleans as well
-
So question.... I've booked with the book now sail later rate... $500 OBC. If they cancel my Mobile, 01/08/22 cruise, and offer OBC for the canceled cruise... then I go and book the same rate out of New Orleans, Do I get the $500 *and* the offered OBC?
-
Does anyone have any idea when they will announce the next round of CD's. I figure after the CDC announces the protocols and Carnival is more sure on their sailings.
We are booked for Jan 8th, so just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

You can do so. So, you want to purchase $500 Cruise Cash to cover general purchases and some Cruise Cash - Bar to cover bar purchases (which would be part of your Cheers, if purchased on board). Sounds reasonable to me. Anything purchased at the bar, including grats, will come from the bar cruise cash.
Correctomundo!! c Awesome thank you so much!
-
So question, we are planning on purchasing Cheers and have a $500 OBC. I plan on add *bar* Cash to cover the addition cost over $500. And then adding $500 or so of *general* Cash to cover things like the Chef's table and other items.
Is this correct? Also, we tip additional on our drinks, would this come out of *bar* or *general*?

Ok, that's exactly what I needed to know. With it being such a small ship I just couldn't figure out where it was held. That makes perfect sense.
-
I am heading out on the Sensation Jan 8th (fingers crossed). Knowing this is a smaller ship, does anyone know where exactly the chef's table is held?

Loving your review. We sailed on the Conquest almost 5 years ago, and it's great reliving that cruise through your eyes and seeing how'd it's changed since then.

Is this the place where they do the Mayan ritual excursion? We were thinking if just getting massages here, but didn't know the prices they charge.
