Our traveling partners and us were upgraded to the sunset family veranda on Infinity. By some luck we are right next door to each other. Can anyone who has had these cabins tell me if your can ask to have the partitions on the balcony removed so we have access to both of them. We have an end one and it will be nice to for them to see on the side also. Thank you in advance for help

Have to say I communicated via email with the Move up dept and they were helpful we are traveling with another party and they bid the same bids. We both got the Family Veranda and are right next to each other. Very Excited also ended up with a corner one so a little extra Veranda space and side viewing.

I did a bid on Aug 29 for a Sept 24 sailing. I am elite and bid on 4 different cabins. One of the bids is saying it is a strong bid. I have yet to hear anything but do see cabins still available in all the ones I bid on. One of them has over 100 open. My questions is will they allow the move ups with all those cabins and fill as many of the move up offers as they can. Just trying to get a veranda for now, anyone have thoughts on if this bid will be accepted. I am also over the minimum on all the other cabins to. This is my first time doing this.
-
If you put in a strong bid and they are still showing say 100 cabins available in that class, from anyone's past experience what are the chances on that. Also what are the chances you even get one if you are on a free casino room?

Made my first bids for move up this week, Did 3 different bids, my question has anyone ever received their bid based on the minimum bid or what they term as a weak bid. Sailing on the Infinity Sept 24 and their are many veranda cabins still open. Also does the CC status help at all, we are Elite. I see on other boards people are being notified almost 3 weeks before the departure date is this the norm also?
Thank you for any info

Just did my first move up bid, I had the free cruise with the deal or no deal and had asked about upgrading and was advised no. Emailed the move up department asking if I could do a move up bid and she came through for me. I just submitted a move up bid for a cruise on Sept 24 with Infinity. I have seen many rooms available and have heard they have been sailing at 60%. My questions are, when will you be notified if accepted, if they labeled my bid as strong will that be a good chance I may get my bid? Lastly how do you deal with luggage tags, can I just change my room on the ones they mailed to me? Thank you to anyone who has done this and was accepted.

They now need to get the app to align with the website as that still says 6 days or longer supervised test.
-
If you go the departing from US ports it still says 6 days for testing. Sorry just saw the updated US Travel section..
-
I am on the Sept 24 out of fort Lauderdale and my app with check in says I still have to test but the web site says differently and the web check in is also showing testing required if anyone gets clarification that would be great as always it is confusing

This is from the celebrity us site on the section when sailing from us ports. Only thing is on the app it is still showing when I check on my check in status that I need to test. Thinking that needs to be updated. I Hope

I just completed the health status on the app for Sept 24. Only asked about if you had been vaccinated and boosted, and if 23 weeks pregnant at any time during sailing.

We were on Apex and started in one of the Restaurant but really enjoyed the Italian one and just went back to that one each night. Keep in mind that you can order from any of other 4 restaurants. Just check your app for what is the specials of the other restaurant and tell your wait you would like that. We tried many of the specials from the other ones, but stayed in Tuscan as we had a great table and wonderful waiter.

Can you upload pictures from your photos on a Iphone for the check in on the app. For example your passport, vax info and photo for security and credit card? Or do you need to retake them all. Thanks in advance
-
I was wondering if I can just upload pics from my photos on my iphone to do the check in. I did a check in, in April had to take the photos when I was checking in. I am hoping I can just go to my saved photos and upload from there, or do I have to retake all the pics of passports etc and pics of passengers at time of checking in. Thank you for your help!!!

I know that we need to bring a copy of the results of the negative covid test. Is the email that is sent to you enough for proof as I understand that is how Walgreens sends the results.
-
so Emerald Beach Resort will allow cruise ship guests on their beach and rent chairs and umbrellas, any idea on costs of those. Also looking for a beach near Crown Bay
-
I called the Walgreens they indicated it is the ID Now test, I am thinking it is a antigen test not a PCR as it states Rapid NAAT test. Either way it is acceptable that is the best thing
-
Just checked the walgreens site to see about testing and I now see the Rapid Naat test instead of the ID Now test. Does any one know if this acceptable?

They have daily cooked to order Steaks, Chicken and Seafood. Don't know if I'd classify it as an "extravaganza". But, for a buffet, they do it well. Their ribeye steaks were a little on the skinny side, but cooked perfectly to my "rare" request. Same for the chicken...not dry but juicy...again, cooked to order.
They also have the above mentioned pasta station where they'll cook the pasta type of your choosing at your request.
Surprisingly, they'll do the same for a Ceasar Salad...made to order. Is it the "table side" preparation with eggs? No! But, they do make it in a Parmesan wheel and add anchovies if you want, too.
Deserts sort of change from night to night.
But, all of this is available every night.
Are the steak etc only on the night time buffet where this one is during the lunch hours. I am also hearing that it is the last sea day. I just saw a daily where it was the 2nd to last sea day wondering if it changes when at the end of your cruise you have 2 sea days at the end. Thanks again for the input and direction

I saw it mentioned in a post earlier and saw it on a daily just can not remember what day it was they have cooked to order chops steaks chicken and fish I heard
