Thank you for posting your video. Would you recommend this room over a deluxe balcony room for 2 adults and a 4 year old?
Personally, I would recommend this room over a deluxe balcony. The deluxe balcony staterooms on the Voyager are 164 square feet and this room is 283 square feet so it's significantly larger. Also, being on deck 12, which is mostly an open air deck, we didn't miss having a balcony since it was just a short walk down the hall and we were able to be outside, and the views from the stateroom more than made up for the lack of balcony.

From what I understand they are new rooms that were added during the last dry dock in November 2014....and there are only 2 of them on the ship from what I was told.

Greetings! I just got back from an 11 night cruise on the Voyager of the Seas in one of the new "Larger Panoramic Ocean View" staterooms on deck 12. I had a hard time finding photos of the room before we booked it so I thought I'd share a video that I made of the cabin:
Overall we LOVED it! The closet was on the small side, but the 5 floor to ceiling windows were awesome!

I had #1864 on the Voyager of the Seas last week and it looks like it should be the same on Freedom. I posted a video of the cabin on YouTube:
The TV does swivel 360 degrees. The room was awesome! My only small complaint was how small the closet was, other than that I was so glad we had this room! I would take this over a balcony ANY day!

We booked it for two people. About a week before we sailed Royal Caribbean called and advised that they had moved us to the room right next door because they wanted to put a group of 4 in this cabin, however, I called them on the fact that the room next door was a different category, and significantly smaller and they put us back into this cabin. I could see them changing it so that it was sold as a family cabin, but at least when we booked it we were able to book it for just two.
