First cruise on the NCL Sky coming up. Can anyone tell me some names of the slots on board? Any of the Asian ones such as 88 FORTUNES, FU DA LAE, or 5 TREASURES? How about Quick Hits? Which QH do they have? How about HOT HOT HABANERO? Does the casino have new machines or old classics? Any info is appreciated.....

Anyone been on the GEM recently. I heard it was refurbished in November 2015. Was the casino refurbished? Can anyone tell me the names of some of the machines in the casino?

I can hope they add them or some more of the newer machines! They do switch them up from year to year.....at least they did on the other NCL ships. Thanks for the info....hope you enjoy your upcoming cruise!

Thanks for the response. Very sorry to hear that. I have been on many NCL cruises and enjoyed all and had a good time in the casino. Also sorry to hear that you didnt see QUICK HITS or the BULLS EYE BONUS (Habenaro, Gauchos Gold). We love playing them; they are very popular in the land casinos.

Same for us. We are covered automatically for cancelled flights and missed trips due to weather and other problems on our Credit Card.

Yes, flying from New York. Would like to spend Christmas day with family and fly down very early on the 26th. We have been flying on the 26th from NY to Caribbean for several years with no weather related problems. But never left on cruise ship same day as flight down in winter. I am a bit worried. Has anyone ever booked air through cruise line (NCL)?? Is weather related insurance very expensive? We usually don't get insurance at all. Thanks!

Need some advice. We are booked on a cruise out of Port Canaveral the day after Christmas. After the events of the last two days I am worried about a weather related incident on the day we fly to Orlando. We were going to fly early morning on the 26th., the same day of cruise. What happens if a weather event prevents you from making cruise departure? From what I read insurance doesn't cover weather unless you book your air through the cruise line, and I'm not even sure about that. Has anyone ever booked air through the cruise line, specifically, NCL? How does all this work? So you need insurance and book air through cruise line? Booking thru Cruise will not be the most reasonable price. I am tempted to just get an early morning flight on our own and hope for the best!

I am booked on the Dawn out of Boston in June. First time on Dawn. Been on the Gem, Jewel and Breakaway and loved them all. I enjoyed the casino on the Breakaway last March, didn't come out a winner but had plenty of play time. Please post a report on the Dawn. Has the casino been upgraded? What slot machines does it have? Quick Hits? Hot Hot Habenaro? Gaucho's Gold? Those are some of my favorites from the Breakaway. Any info would be appreciated!

Also, anyone out there been on the Spirit? Also booked on the Spirit for later in the year. Any casino info about the Spirit would be appreciated as well.

Oh...thanks. I like the original version, 5 reel 1 cent Quick Hit with the $3 max. I have seen the newer version with the flat touch panel on cruise ships with a $1.50 max. And the Gem and Jewel have the Quick Hit Platinum towers for 2 cents but still a $3 max bet. At least they have some sort of Quick Hit. Dont think I like the new fever version though. Anyone play that one?
