with the way most people treat John and talk about him on here what makes you think he will even listen to you all ?

My future step-son is going to turn 18 while we are on the cruise. I bet he's going to want to go to the casino.
to be honest and not burst your bubble. he will not be able to gamble. they consider his age at 17 for the entire cruise. whatever age you board at is what you "are" the whole cruise

TRC’s trademark strategy is to launch an unsolicited “mini-tender” offering to buy a small percentage of a company’s stock BELOW the market price. TRC then sells any shares tendered and pockets the difference. If the share price sinks below the offer price, TRC can walk away. In fact, it can legally keep investors from backing out, literally locking up their shares until it’s profitable to buy them out.
All of the companies listed above have gotten the word out that TRC’s offer is not official. And they’ve urged shareholders to reject it. One can only wonder, however, about investors in companies that didn’t send out press releases, or what happened to those who didn’t get a warning.
“Unscrupulous,” you say? Surely, yes. But there’s nothing inherently illegal about what TRC is doing. Its offers are always for less than 5 percent of companies’ common stock. That means they’re exempt from following Section 14(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and are only subject to anti-fraud rules under Regulation 14E.

i just talked to my broker, Carnival is just trying to clean up outstanding stocks. the offer is $32ish per share. just giving folks a chance to get out if they want i suppose. those that are doing trades with online cheap $7 trades would not benefit. those companies that charge alot for trades may. thats my 2 1/2 cents anyways

I am leaving on Monday for a Thanksgiving cruise. It is completely sold out. I would love to score a balcony when I get there on Monday. (hoping someone cancels) What is the best way to get it if this were to happen. Should I call Carnival now and let them know or show up early just in case?
Thanks
i would not feel right letting you chance it. i say transfer your tickets to me and i will scope it out and make sure its all good

All Past Carnival Cruisers, I am looking to purchase a model of the Conquest and the Valor. I cruised on these two ships 7 and 6 years ago respectively and never thought about purchasing models at the time.
We have since gotten hooked on cruising and have purchased models of all of the other ships we cruised on and started a collection but we are missing those two.
I have searched the internet without any luck. If anyone knows of a site where a model can be purchased for a reasonable price please respond and let me know.
Thanks.
a better solution is to book cruises on those ships :)

We're going to be on the Imagination next week and I am wondering if the water in the pools and water slides are heated.
Is it going to be warm enough to pack a swimming suit?
Thanks!
you are going to the tropics...pack the swimsuits. the pool is not heated but its not cold either.

We are traveling in two weeks to Miami to get on the Breeze for 8 days. The last two times we cruised I HAULED water and soda on board. The soda is a given, we prefer Coke Zero and they usually don't have that.
My question to all is, do you drink the water on board or bring your own? I only drink filtered water at home. I have read that the water on the ship is filtered....can you tell?
Any help would be appreciated. I would rather not carry on water if I don't have to.
WAIT A MINUTE.......they have drinks other than alcohol on board ?????

For anything besides FTTF, the answer is NO. You cant book an excursion before the cruise is paid off. I think they let you book FTTF because it effects your boarding experience before you get on the ship. But I would make sure that if you do order FTTF before fianl payment it shows on your paid in full receipt.
this is absolutely incorrect, my past 4 cruises i have paid for ALL my excursions before i have paid in full. i typically have my deposit paid then i do all my excursion purchases before making my final payments. with my current booking i have all my 3 excursions paid for and i still owe 1200 for final payment
