I was just going to say this but you beat me to it. I haven't canceled any cards for two reasons.  1)The United miles that I earn with my Visa card do not expire and 2) canceling cards and then opening up new ones later down the road could affect your credit score.  Credit utilization and average age of your credit cards have an impact on your score.  The $95 annual fee is worth it.  My DH and I each have one of these cards and we use them  for almost everything.

  2. This is right on the boarding pass for a cruise in 3 days:

Thank you for observing our carry-on alcohol policy. As a reminder, adult passengers are permitted to bring one 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne onboard per voyage, which will not be subject to a corkage fee if consumed in the stateroom. Additional wine or champagne bottles are welcome, but will incur a $15 corkage fee each, irrespective of where they are intended to be consumed. Liquor, spirits or beers are not permitted. Please remember that luggage will be scanned and alcohol outside of our policy will be removed and discarded.

  3. When you are logged in to "My Account" and looking at booked cruises you should see "Manage This Booking" written in blue on the top right hand corned of the sand coloured box containing details of you cruise. Click on this and then on the tab marked "Dining" below your booking when the next page loads.

    Hope this works for you.

Have done this multiple times....no link to booking. Just says I have no reservations booked. Must be a website issue. I could book La Reserve, but just not the specialty restaurants.

  4. I have a feeling that Mr. Lustig's opinions about being a cruise Director may have changed.

He resigned his position with Oceania, about a month ago.

Sorry to read of this. We've sailed with him several times - including an early transatlantic when he was acting CD - and found him to be one of the kindest persons we've encountered anywhere.

    We wish him well!
