We had a very interesting experience this time...took the bus, got stopped by the police, had a longggg conversation between the bus drivers and police, eventually a minor got off the bus, not before dropping a knife on the floor on the way out. Did not feel threatened, but instead entertained by listening to the passengers talk about what was going on...

Any of you folks that spend lots of time in Cabo have any sites you recommend that would steer me toward things we would like to see or do? We are both physically active and are not afraid to travel on city buses, etc. We will be down there the 1st week of December and are trying to plan what we would like to do. Any help, pointers, tips are appreciated. Thanks.

We've done carnival and crown. Using crown the week after thanksgiving again this year. Of Royal, Crown, Carnival, and Holland I think Crown is our favorite so far. Just my personal opinion.

It is our practice to never ever use our debit card when not at home. That is risky enough, and my real preference is cash but I like the safety credit cards provide when traveling.

Graycliff, cigars and chocolate. Fish Fry, Oh Andros. John Watlins, rum factory. Queens stair case. Sit on the balcony at at Greek restaurant and watch the traffic.

Oh Andros at the Fish Fry! Good food.

We ate at Oh Andros, everything was very good, but share a meal, it's a lot of food, and watched traffic with a beverage at a lovely greek restaurant. Both were very good for what we wanted.

If you have your motorcycle license book with eagle rider. Best trip to date. Cooking with Josephina this time.

H n L, it was a great pleasure to meet you, what an amaizing way to find out about EagleRider Harley rental as cruise critic forums, The funniest was that Charles and Clare happened to be in your same cruiseship and the 4 of you ended up riding the island with us!!

I just downloaded the pictures...everyone wants to know what and how we did it and I am telling everyone about you guys!!! I think H will talk about this trip for a very long time. We could not have had a more perfect day. Keep doing what you are doing, your reputation is outstanding and all you guys are the best. We hope to see you next time we are there.

We are headed on the tour with Eagle rider. DH collects those and the poker chips. I'll let you know when we return.

Has anyone done the motorcyle rental by Easy Rider? It is much cheaper than the cruise excursion. I just wondered if they give you a map or how you find your way around the island. Where would you go is you rented a motorcycle for the day?

We will be in Cozumel on 3/19.

After seeing this, and we are Harley Riders, DH decided it was what we are going to do, so I checked trip advisor and these boards and then booked with eazyrider. Much thanks for shining the light on something I had not seen.

On our first trip to Coz, we purchased a map thru Cozumelinsider dot com. They have excellent maps and not overly expensive. That being said, unless you are driving in the downtown area of San Miquel, you should not get too lost. The island is intersected by a road and it makes a loop to the south, ending at the area near the lighthouse and then turns back north. It looks like a great idea.
