I worry about uber hiking the price as the ship arrive and just before. They did this to us going to a garth brroks concert. On the way it i. Was only lime 14 dollars so we got an uber. But out to our hotel it was bumped to 45 because there were not enoigh drivers on the road.

When going on previous cruises the wife and I have always been able to find a hotel that would allow us to stay the night before and park all week as well as transfer us to and from the hotel. This has worked very well but I am having some difficulty finding a hotel in New Orleans that offers all of those things. I have found hotels that will let us park but does not provide transfer, or have any arrangements with any companies that do so. This is getting frustrating for me. How do you all handle New Orleans? Does anyone know of a hotel that does all of these things?

The freedom had chlorinated the saltwater 2 weeks ago when we were on it. That was a first as usually just saltwater. U could faintly smell it in the hottub but much less of it or something like it.

My wife and I used to feel the same way but went this last time thanks to a friend who purchased it and told us we had to try it... We loved it the food was worth the upgrade and we will do it again. Maybe not every cruise but we will again.

We were on the same sailing and also felt the dining lacked over pas cruises in each venue with the exception of guys burgers n blue iguana which were both amazing. But Mdr was no where near as good as even last year and the buffet was dang well inedible!!!

Was just taking my post cruise survey today and it asked me if i purchased wifi I answered no then it asked if I was aware carnival had a social media plan for $5 a day... Anyone know what this is?

Roulette table has 5 minumim bet but all chips are 2 dollars now to you will be betting 6 or more most people last week didn't realize this and were placing 5 chips down betting 10 a pop when told by other cruisers some almost had mini heart attacks. The dealers etc were not telling people this at all and no signage was posted.

So do you think the odds of a better cabin assignment are there if you don't find out until sailing or are the odds better for a good assignment if assigned early.

As a side note those that booked es with 30 day final pay better check that I booked under it but it said and I was told I had to pay by august for my oct cruise. I reminded them I booked with the 30 day final pay and she basically said I was Incorrect this only existed on one promotion which I know I have seen at least 3 - 4 of those sales including the one I originally booked under.

So my wife and I decided we just could not swing another 900 bucks before our. Those with some other unexpected expenses that poped up so I called carnival and asked if I could downgrade to a porthole or inside from balcony on same cruise. I was told no because I had early saver I could not do that... So instead I was charged a 100 fee and was allowed to switch to a completely different ship and port during same week. Now I save a lot of money but what's the difference in charging me the same 100 fee and allowing me to stay on the same ship as apposed to what they did?

My wife had an vifp offer for 100 obc if we booked through it so I looked to see about switching our booking to it and the price was 100 more than what we were booked but came with obc so it washed even..... Great reward huh?

My experience has been that any "sale" carnival has it not really a sale at all. There always seems to be an exclusion or up charge somewhere else that stops it from benefiting.

Even if we can hear lido we don't think we will mind we have noticed I cruises we have missed out on so much from lido and we think being this close we will catch more happenings!
