  1. We did a pre-order of the cheers package also, Once on-board we went to get our first drink only to be told we had to go to guest services first to get our stickers on our sign and sail cards. After standing in line at guest service we got our stickers and went back to the bar only to be told it wasn't in the system yet. So back to the guest service line to straighten things out, spent a hour or so getting things squared away. Lesson of the day was I should have been smart enough to print my confirmation email and had that with me.

  2. Just past the pier at the Renaissance Curacao Resort and Casino they have a budget rental car. We just stumbled into it there was no line, only took maybe 10 minuets to get the car. I think it was 80 bucks for the whole day and we were able to drop it off after hours just had to leave the key at the front desk. We really enjoyed driving around found lots of small beaches and a few had some pretty good snorkeling. Only problem was we couldn't find a gas station that would accept Visa or MasterCard so I returned the car with out filling it up that charge for that was very minimal, if I remember correctly it was under 20 dollars. After we dropped the car we walked over the floating bridge grabbed some drinks and hung out until it was tome to get back on board.

  3. Getting a Taxi to take us to Bayahibe was a problem as there was just two of us, we were willing to pay but no driver would leave without a full cab/van. After 10 minuets or so we decided to head back on the ship that is when one of the drivers yelled for us to stop and put us in a full cab and then off we went. Once we arrived at Bayahibe the driver discussed how long we could stay and what everyone was to pay per person. There was a lot of confusion because of the language barrier and the signs at the port have prices that are completely different from what was being discussed. It reminded me of many of the cruise ports 10 years ago, people fairly aggressive selling and trying to work to get you to spend your money. We enjoyed our day and didn't spend as much on the taxi as we had feared.

  4. Sound advice I had the thought to bring my computer to upload daily but talked myself out of it.

We are pretty sure we left our camera in a golf cart that we rented while on the island. Contacted the rental people and they didn't find one so our hope is that it fell out between Jack's shack and the cruise port.

  5. We were on the Breeze last week and lost our blue waterproof Fuji camera on grand turk Friday Aug 8th. There was a second carnival ship docked with us and our last hope is someone on that ship or one after us found it and turned it in. We got engaged on that cruise and all our engagement/cruise photos are on that camera.

    Thanks for any help CC
