  1. We have been advised that the airlines require one to have 150% of battery life per the length of the longest leg of any trip you take. For our travel to NZ we are hoping to get permission to take less as we only need the oxygen concentrator when in the airports where we could plug in and recharge. if you are traveling outside the US, it may be difficult to quickly get extra batteries should one fail so I'd have at least on spare. Check with the airlines or cruise line re their regulations.

Turns out Jerry needed his POC during every flight. the air in airplanes, especially the older ones is really making everyone oxygen depleted, not just those who have a condition! So be prepared to need it the entire flight. Jerry was tested by the Cleveland Clinic FL to not need O2 in the air. The first flight from FLL to Dallas his O2 dropped into the 80%ile within minutes of taking off! Be aware and be safe!

  2. Hi GayenJerry,

Did you change your sailing date ? If so, we've seen numerous reports where the promotion may not move to the new sailing. If you've kept the same sailing(s), and simply changed cabins, then I would question it further.

Can you provide additional details ? It would help us to help you.

We did Lose all perks & only after letters to the CEO did they restore some OBC. At the end of the cruise we were not billed for gratuities so we assume they restored prepaid Grats, so in the end we only lost an excursion & the beverages. Seems like they made us work so hard when they could have created more good will & loyalty by restoring the pkg! We are now very wary of any Celebrity promos & promises!

  3. Due to a snafu in Celebrity's online booking website, we lost our 1-2-3 Go! promotion that we had booked onboard our back to back 35 day cruise in Australia and NZ last winter. Just wondering how many others had and lost this promotion due to minor changes in cabin or itinerary, or just unexpectedly lost it? Someone with our TA's office said this happened to many. I'm just curious as I haven't seen anything here about it. Celebrity did restore only some shipboard credit, but we lost the prepaid gratuities, drink package and even a free shore excursion we had booked in April. I guess "read the fine print" is good advice when looking at a promotion that seems to good to be true!

  4. We enjoy good films, especially foreign films, classical and popular music, art, theater, and nature, especially birds and flowers. I would love to connect with folks on Celebrity Eclipse sailing Aug 3 2013 to Iceland and Norway, who like good conversation, shared interests, and maybe a game of Scrabble? We live in SE Florida.

  5. how many batteries do you usually travel with ?
