I just booked  AquaClass 9126 cabin on the Millennium. It is below the Oceanview Buffet. I am concerned about noise. Will I have an issue?

There is another cabin available 9074 but that is under the pool deck. What are your opinions on the cabins?

I have stayed at the Comfort Suites Airport North ( Minola Drive )in 2016 and found it very comfortable and clean. They offer a free shuttle to the port and the breakfast was very good. I booked it again for our Aug 26th cruise to Cuba. The price I paid was higher in 2016 and the rate I got this time was $ 87 for 3 people. I hope that it has not changed much since then.

I had the pleasure to meet Captain Kate and her cat Bug Naked on the Summit in 2017. She was fantastic and very personable.  I loved her daily announcements because they were informative and entertaining.

I had the same issue with a charge for wine tasting. I went to guest relations and was told that I signed for it. They were giving me a hard time, and the representative was rude. When I wanted to see the signed receipt, they refunded me the amount after talking to a supervisor. After that incident, I checked the account balance nightly.

Last June on the Summit it was held on the pool deck. It was a blast, and everyone had a good time. The weather was perfect that night.:D

Last year I used my Chase Visa card at Wahoos restaurant. Chase does charge foreign transaction fees, but I was not charged any extra fees on the transaction.

On the way down to Bermuda last June, the ship encountered a severe storm. The ship was rocking, and the outdoor pool was closed. The indoor pool was open, and it looked like a wave pool. I have always been prone to seasickness, but I was fine ( I was wearing the Scopalamine patch). It rained so much that we were not able to sit on the veranda but we had a great time. I did have a little trouble walking because of the rocking. Once we made it to Bermuda, the weather was beautiful, and the water was warm. We loved the cruise so much we are heading back again in June.

I put my phone into airplane mode and then connect to wifi. I use the Magic Jack App, and I can call home. I have a Magic Jack at home. I find that the connection on the ship (Summit) is good and I have no dropped calls. You can also use Whats App to make calls. The Magic Jack works good for me, and I can also text.

I attended the connections party last June on the Summit. The Captain, the cruise director, and the officers attended and mingled with the group. There were over 30 people signed up, but only seven people attended. They provided coffee, pastries, and water.

It was very nice, and I had the opportunity to talk to Captain Kate for a few minutes. The other officers were very nice also.

There was a Q&A with the Captain and the first mate (I do not know if that is the correct term) on another day and it was very informative.

Just curious, can onboard credit be used to pay the daily gratuities?

I had no issues with the service. I was able to stream Netflix movies, made wifi calls and there was no buffering or dropped calls on my tablet. Maybe I was just lucky.:D

My perks are gone today. They do not show up in order history but I am able to utilize the OBC. I called and obtained a confirmation and they are listed there correctly. Maybe when I sail in 225 days the site will be correct.

I just upgraded to Aqua class. I have reservations each night under select dining. Should I cancel them or keep the reservations? I know that Blu does not accept reservations.:D

Do you have cookies enabled on your browser? Many sites store the info on your computer in a form of a cookie and when you click remember me the information is stored and then expires after a while.

I ordered my luggage tags after I confirmed with a celebrity representative that they were free.:D

As long as your carrier supports wifi calling, it couldn't be any easier. Turn on airplane mode, Wifi on and use your phone like you're at home. No third party apps needed.

 

 

My bill says I used 63 minutes of wifi calling last month. Largely from calls made on the Reflection. $0.00 charge.

Who is your cell phone carrier?

Is your cellphone carrier a USA carrier. Just be careful. It depends on what number you are calling. I have ATT and you have to be connected to a domestic wifi network otherwise you will be charged. I do not know if the ship's wifi counts as domestic. If you call an international number you will be charged based on your plan.

I have a Magic Jack at home and I use their app. I used it on my last cruise and it worked great. I also used that app to text.:D
