Don't worry, Captain Turner will alter course if necessary. We avoided a typhoon in November on the Volendam and encountered rough weather from storms. He is very experienced and has been at sea for over 40 years.

How can i find the current location of the Volendam?

As per the itinerary, its should be on the path of the Typhoon Tembin.

Our family is on one the ship right now ,there is a sea day now, so they are disconnected from the internet.

We have check the Marine traffic website, but is looks not updated.

Does anybody can help with this?

This is the difference between 7 nights cruise to 8 or 9 nights cruise.

At 7 nights cruise arrival at 12pm and at 8 nights cruise the arrival at 7am.

All the ports are the same.

It was firm but not uncomfortable. I prefer softer but did sleep well. It’s a great cabin.

We just go off Anthem of the Seas - Sept. 9-14, 2017. Here are a few notes I would have found useful before we left on our trip.

 

 

 

Cabins 6646 and 6644. These are great cabins. Close to elevators. The best part were the balconies. They are extended out from the ship and very private. No obstructions.

 

 

We loved the cruise. The shows, the food, the staff. Shopping was all the same as every other cruise.

How was the mattress at cabin 6644?

Is it was firm or soft?

I have heard that the mattress on the Anthem are very firm and not so comfortable.

We will have this cabin on our next cruise, so we are very curious.

I have just received FCC from my last cruise for next RCCL cruise.

Can i apply the FCC for my next cruise which i have already booked by my travel agent?

I'm already after final payment, is it a problem?

Can i get a refund for the FCC amount of the cruise that i have already paid?

We are considering cruise to Bahamas at the end of January.

We would like to do the Dolphin encounter, do they provide wet suit at this program?

We are afraid that the water will too cold.

we just got off on Sat. We were on the hump cabin 6644 and the bed is by the bathroom. There is no obstruction.

As per Palma port website the ship will dock in Palma on May 7th. And from this date will dock every Monday in Palma.

So we can assume that the first sailing from Barcelona will be on May 6th and from this date on every Sunday ,all the summer.

I have booked 2 interior cabins while i was onboard.

Now we have decided to move to another cruise and changing our 2 cabins to 1 balcony cabin- we are 2 adults and 2 kids.

Do i need to add any money to the deposit that i have already pay onboard ?

As i have pay 100$ deposit for interior cabins its same deposit as 1 balcony cabin, is going to work? or any changes in my current reservation can cost more money to pay ?

Last year we have visit Cinque Terre during our cruise on the Harmony.

We took a taxi to La Spezia train station (flat cost of 15 eur).

Then we took the train to Manarola ,we have travel there to the marina.

And then took the boat from Manarola to Vernazza ( 8 EURO one way).

At Vernazza you can swim at the beach, than took the train back to La Spezia and then back to to the ship.

It was lovely and fun day at Cinque Terre.

I know that as per rccl rules they should be at different age group, but is it possible to leave them together? even at 3-5 years group.

I have GTY cabin on the Freedom for the next summer.

I have got the cabin assignment few weeks ago, as i didn't like the location of the cabin i have got , I have call RCCL in order to switch to another room at the same category.

They have just told me that GTY cabin cannot be change after the assignment, and i have to stay at the same cabin i have got.

Did anybody succeed to change GTY cabin assignment?

Its very strange that they force me to stay at cabin i don't want.

I will appreciate your advice.
