  1. Hi!  I board the Pride next Sunday (1/27) and plan to purchase the premium internet for work as well.  I will report back in early Feb after our cruise! 😄. Although we are the last cruise before it’s upgrades at dry dock, so hopefully whatever I have, yours will only be better!

  2. We tipped the driver when he dropped us off. He was contracted (I assume) by the cruise line to take us both ways and was super nice.

There wasn't a tip jar our and the staff didn't pander for tips like they do on some excursions. I did see a few folks leave money with the bartender and heard that they'd be divided equally amongst the staff.

Thank you so much!! This is very helpful!! I really appreciate the info and the review...in a few short weeks I'll report back on my experience as well. I can't wait!!

  3. Ashley,

Thanks so much for posting this! We are in this excursion in 3 weeks and I can't wait! My question is about tips? Did they have a jar for everyone, did you tip separately? Not at all? Since their are so many people working, I wasn't sure how that worked with this excision.

I really can't wait and so good to hear it is was wonderful and a small group! Thanks again and any advice on gratuity would be great!

  4. Hi! We've been twice on RCCL and loved it! first cruise we stuck to the dockyard and did Segways, Jetskis, sea glass beach and shopping. We ran out of time for Hamilton and St. George. Second time, we went to Hamilton via a quick/easy public bus and went to one of the forts over there, we headed to Horseshoe beach (amazing!), and went into town...their we shopped and toured a beautiful church. At st. George's we went to the lighthouse and another beach I can't remember the name of.

Bermuda is beautiful and a very romantic port. Beaches are amazing as well, we loved it both times and neither of our cruises had many kids at all (a very small handful). Although that time of year will be mostly kid free anyway!

Congrats to your son! Either way, he'll have a blast!

  5. It took 2 weeks for me to get my $300

Thanks! That makes me feel a little better. It's been 10 days since they were sent (12 since I ordered them)...maybe there is still hope!

Two weeks ago I got a $500 card and a $100 card. As soon as the tracking information for the $500 showed up, I called and had them leave the package at the UPS station since I knew it had to be signed for. I ordered on June 5 and picked up the card on the 10th. Still haven't received the $100 card I ordered on the 4th also. It has never taken this long.

Meanwhile my sister got $1k worth from AARP on the 5th and had them both by the 9th.

Thanks! I agree...it's odd some are taking so long, wish I had stuck to the $500 ones. Hope yours come soon too!

  6. I ordered $800 of these last time they were offered and received the $500 one (signed for it) but still have not received the other 3 $100 ones via snail mail. Website states they shipped on 6/5/15. Has anyone ever worked with Verizon when they were shipped and not received?

Just curious...hoping I'm not out my $270! Our post office mis-delivers all the time and items get sent back to sender for no reason. I'm afraid that's what happened. 😒

I should have just ordered 2 $500s instead but didn't know one was signed for and the other wasn't.
