Wow, not even frozen?? I thought that stuff is shipped all over the world

"HAVE NOT BEEN since"
-
I gotchya! I admit although I toured their several times before they built Space Center Houston, I have to been since to do it as part of that attraction. I always assumed it was geared for the small fry; but I've been told Adults will enjoy it as well
-
And, my opinion, it's an experience. Four star small bites of nouvelle cuisine and cheap wine that wouldn't be all that in just a hotel setting
-
I don't know if you could get a second; but I think you would look like a goober if you did that or passed on an offering.
-
I wouldn't chance on the morning of the cruise. Space center Houston advises 3-4 hours if you want to include the actual tour.

For me, the only advantage of the Freedom over the Magic is the shorter walk from front to back. Guys Burgers is a plus, but (for me) not enough to choose a ship. Also, some of the performers stagings on the August Freedom were off for me. I also didn't care too much for having the Captain's reception in the casino bar
-
I didn't mind the new American table menu at all. The "regular" nights do seem to have less choices than the old menus; but the elegant "American feast" night menus more than make up for it
-
There shows to be a Shell station with a mini-mart next door. Hopefully, the hotel will have a complimentary van to area restaurants because there is not much in the area
-
I can tell you the parking lots/shuttles are not a hassle at all. That's about 60-80 for the week. So, add this to a budget Houston/Texas City Hotel. On the island, I hear many people speak well of Inn on the Water park or for $$$, the Tremont or Galvez.
-
I'd probably have to say go eat some barbeque or Mexican food. If you're culturally minded, go to the world-famous Menil collection. If you're cheap, go for a nice walk around Hermann park.

Wellll, I've done it five times.
1. Parked at the ezcruise and they drove my a my stuff over. Left my baggage with a porter and walked a short distance to the entrance.
2. Waited about 30 minutes to get thru security and for them to inspect my carry on canned beverages
3. Proceed upstairs to stand in line for room key. Another 30-60 minutes.
4. A few zig zag ramps and your on the ship.

Go to the Super shuttle page to get a rate and then go to Uber for their price. I saw a TripAdvisor comment that they paid $60 for the Super Shuttle to your hotel but I'm not sure if that was for a single or a double fare.
-
Well, I took a look at their website and it says they're three miles from NASA so I'm not sure who told you they were within walking distance. You really should call the hotel to confirm everything and you can ask them if they recommend a shuttle that will take you directly to the hotel.
-
Their website says: 7 day cruises:* $80.00 per week / $75.00 per week if prepaid.

We were on El Jardin a few years ago and watched it roll in. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't witnessed it myself. It did seem to burn off relatively quickly
-
Regarding fog, I did go back and look at historical info for 2015. March did appear the worst for closings. Most show reopening by 11:00 a.m. A few went into the afternoon.

We're on our way. Going to try Taino through a Carnival Excursion. About $20 more pp; but we'll feel better about not being left behind
-
Also, the last date for Houston freezes is usually around February 14th. So you could find unseasonably warm or very cold weather around that time
-
No, I think sundown would be around 6 o'clock either so you would probably want to walk between five and six if that's a concern
-
Still fog issues? I haven't heard of any delays this year
-
You may want to call as well. Note her wording might imply those prepurchased as well.
-
Wow. Glad I saw this. I called them and was told the same "not accepting them at this time"
