The Ice Show, Mamma Mia and Ocean Aria on Allure were all fantastic. There was live music all over the ship at various times. There was a comedy show and headliner show recently that ran multiple times, but we did not catch that one. They did a 70s party on the Promenade one night that was festive and fun. (All from 6 night sailing last week).

How soon were you able to book the shows? We sail April 30th and they're not available yet.

  2. We're cruising on the Allure in January and are looking for excursions. I tried Googling Bernard's Tours and didn't have any luck. Last time we were there we rented scooters and toured on our own with our sons. This time, we're with an older group and looking for something to do. Thanks for your help. :)

  3. My understanding is that kids are not allowed to have their own staterooms without an adult. For the purposes of booking you have one adult per room, so you should be able to get the 2 bottles per cabin.

We have 10 in our party. One stateroom has a 19 year old and a 16 year old with their parents next door. Neither of the teens is old enough to drink. Don't think we'll be eligible for their wine!

  4. I found the following skins for bottles of wine if anyone is interested. I think it is one of the most economical ways to go if you're not likely to cruise more than once or twice a year. I know I don't need anything else to store in my basement that I only use when I cruise. I definitely want to be able to pack my Northern Michigan Wine when I fly out to board the Oasis later this month though. :D:D

Thanks for the tip. I found this quote on this board: http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=5068
