  1. Dear Guest,

Health and safety aboard the ship is a shared responsibility and we need your kind assistance for the benefit of our guests, crew, and those ashore.

The Washington Governors office has issued guidelines for cruise guests visiting Washington, regardless of vaccination status.  Accordingly, all guests are required to take a molecular COVID-19 test (such as a NAAT or PCR test) three days prior to traveling and email your test results to us at HealthSafety@AmericanCruiseLines.com before you travel.

Additionally, all guests will be administered an antigen test upon arrival to the ship or at the pre-cruise hotel.  While mask mandates are being relaxed around the country, we remain bound by the Executive Order on Promoting COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel and the U.S. Coast Guards Bulletin on COVID-19 Safety Requirements in the Maritime Transportation System requiring that face masks be worn aboard U.S. public maritime vessels throughout the cruise when indoors and aboard motor coaches, along with other procedures to mitigate the risks of COVID-19.

When you arrive to your ship, you will be asked to certify:
    • Your vaccination status, and present proof of vaccination (i.e. your vaccination card)
    • Your contact with individuals known or suspected to have had COVID-19 in the last 14 days
    • Any symptoms you may have relating to COVID-19 in the last 14 days
    • That you understand the risks of COVID-19 and are willing to comply with American Cruise Lines operating protocols, including the mask mandate
A certified Medical Officer will perform a brief health screening and possible additional COVID-19 testing throughout the duration of your cruise.

Thank you.  We look forward to welcoming you aboard.

    Sincerely,
