As they are a booking agent and not a tour provider, you can do independent research on the company actually running the tour.   The Get Your Guide description will tell you the name of the operator.

 

An advantage to using Get Your Guide rather than booking directly with the tour provider is that, in most cases in my experience, you can reserve your place, but your credit card won't be charged until a few days before the tour.  This offers flexibility if your plans change and is even better than canceling a paid tour and waiting for a refund.  

 

I had to miss a tour once at the last minute because I wasn't feeling well, and there was no refund.   So that would presumably also be the case if your ship missed a port, or arrived late into port, without notice due to weather or some other unexpected issue.  

Thank you so much.  The tour I’m thinking about has plenty of time before the ship sails.

I also used National Express once. We waited at the bus station which is attached to LHR. It was a very long walk. They announce the buses arriving on monitors. Then it is a scramble to get on. Lol  I did pay a little extra to reserve seats. 

 

Once you arrive at Southampton bus station, you will probably need to take a taxi to your hotel, depending on where you are staying.  It was 10 pounds to get to the Holiday Inn Southampton. If you need to use the toilet there, have change ready. Lol
 

We used the taxi the next time, as we just wanted no stress after a long flight.  I have used Paragon Taxis several times. Great service.

We are flying into Heathrow a day early and will book a hotel near the cruise port in Southampton.  Does anyone have a taxi or car service that will take us there.  It’s just too much to go by train with all the luggage.

I will be on that cruise too!  There is one excursion Paris on your own.  I was looking for something different but it looks like most of the excursions are not available or filled up.
