Anyone been in cabin F121 on Aurora, please?

If you are a pensioner with your pension from one of the designated membership categories, you have to fill in the forms on line and print them off, stating you are retired. You cannot join as a pensioner on line and have to post the forms to CSSC. You do not both have to join for the Insurance but there are other benefits from the membership that you would not be able to share, e.g. visits to English heritage free.
Hope this helps.

I print off then fold the luggage labels and then cover them with “sticky back plastic”. Blue Peter style. I’ve been using the same roll from WH Smith for about 6 years and have still got more than half left.

We were on Oriana World Cruise in 2012. Visited Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney. Your information is a little awry.

We have received both of ours for October 2017 cruises on early saver, minus labels as cabin had not been allocated then. You have to make sure you didn't tick the go green box.
Hope this helps.

The bathrobes are £19.99 each or two for £29.99. They are soft fabric and different from those supplied for use in cabins. Wash well and are comfortable to wear.
Hope this helps.:p

If you look at your passport number the start/ expiry date will be right but the passport number is not until you change it. I've always had to change it.
Insurance doesn't seem to matter as we didn't have ours on booking but added later. The green tick was done immediately.
Hope this helps.:)

All coach passengers are given a venue, where an officer is in touch with the disembarkation team. They direct you when the team are ready, usually first after luggage is ready in the hall. About 8:50 ish.
Hope this helps.:)

Thank you Berrywood.

It looked like Oriana left Southampton at 23.30 yesterday, when it was thought to leave at 16.30.
Does anyone know if this was so?

Correction Blodwyn,
I meant Arcadia!

On our last cruise in April/May we were allocated G45.
Very spacious and quiet.
The toilets are no problem as most people exit the theatres on Fdeck.
Hi Blodwyn, do you have any phographs of Cabin G45, please? We are going to be in there at the end of November. We have only been in a balcony cabin on Ventura before, but thought weatherwise it would be better with outside this time.
Thank you.

The 10% discount is only given on select fares.
You would need to contact your TA or pando direct to confirm if they need to be booked at the same time. I am sure we once booked and 18nighter, then added the preceeding 2nighter at a different time and got the discount. It was a while back though so confirm. If you booked them at the same time the 10% is applied to each cruise. Also if you booked at the same time you would hopefully be able to keep the same cabin, which is a bonus.
We booked two cruises back to back, three months apart, and stayed in the same cabin. You have to make sure that when booking that the bookings are linked. Discounts still applied. This was last year and we sailed Feb/March. :)

Brian,
We were charged a cancellation fee on Aurora even although we were booking another cruise for the same day. Also on Oriana we were told that we would get a full refund if they were able to sell our tickets. Fortunately, they did.
Nevleen.
The tour we cancelled on Aurora had been pre booked before sailing. We booked the tour and when aboard decided to go with our friends on a different tour. The original was cancelled with a cancellation fee, equivalent to ten percent of the actual tour price and not of the reduced peninsular price. We thought this was mean since really we were transferring to another tour.

Nevleen & postcardswansea, there is NO cancellation fee!!!!!!!!!! As mentioned previously, I have now cancelled our pre-booked excursion, and have been refunded the full amount. The only risk you take by waiting until you are on board, is that the excursion you want may be fully booked, and the prices are usually a pound or two more than if you pre book.

We've pre-booked an excursion because we wanted to be sure of one in particular, in case it sold out. My question is - if, once on board, the excursion is still available, is there any risk involved in cancelling the pre-booking and then immediately re-booking using OBC? Or would we have to wait to re-book, and possibly miss out?
I realise we'd face a cancellation penalty, but it may still be worthwhile to us to do this if we have OBC to use up.
Not only a cancellation penalty but if you get discount for peninsular membership, the % penalty is taken from the full amount not what you paid.

We requested shares instead of dividends, which increases the portfolio, even although it makes no difference for onboard credit. It is one way of maximising the investment.:)

I applied in December by email after making our final payments. As the other OP said, it may be because we hold our own share certificate of which Carnival have a record. Had a reply within 24 hours with an updated confirmation.

Thank you Bee-ess and Mysticalmother.:)

We are Ligurian and have a time on our ticket now. Why all the fuss?
-
We are Ligurian members and have been allocated a time for boarding on 3rd November. We were not asked when we would like to board, but have been asked for disembarkation, in the past.
Perhaps it is not only Caribbean that is affected.
