Has anyone gone on this trip? We are going the first week of May 2018. Looking for recommendations,tips etc.

Budapest is a great city. We also came in a couple of days earlier. The sail away passes by the parliament at night and is fantastic. Vienna yesterday there is so much to see and do. Try Demel's coffee house, the coffee is good but the strudel is very good. Cafe Mozart attached to the Sacher Hotel in the morning also had very good coffee and strudel.

We started our cruise from Budapest a couple of days ago, the to Bratislava, today in Vienna. So far the trip has been wonderful, water levels are perfect, the weather amazing, food and ship Idi really fantastic. It looks like the last week of August is a good time to see Budapest. No clouds in the sky in Vienna, on to our second cup of coffee and apple strudel. Viking crew has been excellent.

We are going on the Viking Budapest to Amsterdam cruise soon. Does anyone have an update on water level issues. The last I read the water levels were high. Any update?

We are going on the Budapest to Amsterdam grandtour in August. Viking says wine and beer for lunch and dinner. How is the wine and beer? Just curious about the quality. My take on wine is if it tastes good it is good.
