So it looks like they cancelled the Ovation march 30, 2019 repositioning Cruise from Sydney to Singapore.

I wonder if the ovation will stop in New Zealand, South Pacific and Tahiti enroute to Hawaii?

We went on in March 2017, and it still looked fairly new to me. We had a suite, and it was very clean too.

I know I'm quoting myself here but those very same friends just surprised us with a video call where they revealed to us that they are joining us on our upcoming Freedom sailing! I am so happy and excited!!

We are travelling to the US on Thursday to visit friends we first met on cruise critics 7 years ago have cruised with several times and visited, there will be 10 of us meeting up again for 4th of July celebrations in Bethany Beach cant wait to see them all again:)

20 yrs later I still keep in very close contact with my table mate I met the very 1st nt at dinner of my very 1st cruise. We text, email and talk every day now for 20 yrs. In fact, I married him 6 months after meeting him on that cruise! [emoji2]

Actually we haven't met any from NZ! Our friends are from England and Ireland! I'd love to meet some from NZ though, that's a place I've always wanted to visit!

Yep we do! We've met lifelong friends across the world who we still communicate with. We've actually visited them as well! That it one of our favorite parts of cruising!

Let me guess, friends from New Zealand? They're the friendliest!

I've met so many lifelong friends onboard whom I communicate with often from all over the world. Some I've even traveled to their country just to visit them.

Do you just communicate with the friends you've met onboard just during cruise time?

The jacuzzi is on the balcony off the master bedroom on the second floor of the Royal Loft Suite.

I used an IPhone 6 on the oasis, and facetime audio and visual worked fine. I also have a t-mobile phone that connected to the wifi calling.

I'm hoping the soon to be announced :rolleyes: suite enhancements will give more features to the higher level suites much like Celebrity

Agreed! The new Coastal kitchen was great too!

Last week we stayed in the new royal suite on the oasis, and I can't remember any extra perks for the royal suite. The first time I stayed in it, they gave us a few free professional family portraits in Central Park, but everything else was normal suite perks.

I agree with everything you said about the privacy, after staying in it last week.

I have the same suite booked on the same ship in November, I'll report back.

Try the Aqua theater suite. I think it holds up to 8 people.

my child celebrated her 6 birthday on a cruise, so i slept in the pullman the first 2 nights and after she turned 6 we switched sleeping arrangements.

We are currently on the Allure, headed to St. Thomas. The captain just announced we would be delayed a few hours into St. Thomas due to some mechanical problem that was just replaced in Ft. Lauderdale two days ago. We are currently midship, and the vibration is heavier than normal, but nothing that will ruin our vacation.

I think your 4 year old will have a great time regardless if there are a lot of kids or not. I took a 3 year old on a celebrity cruise, and he had a good time.

This April, I'll probably be traveling with a 3 year old too, on the reflection, and not a bit concerned about him being bored.

We just left 14000 this last Saturday. The whole ship was very well kept. Our room was perfect. No problems with it at all. I found the concierge service not up to par with our other NCL cruises but didn't let that ruin our trip.

My inquiry was the result of a recent review by worldcruiser25. She was writing about her stay in one of the new signature suites.

 

As cruisestitch suggests, it appears the review comment referred to either steak and eggs or eggs Benedict. So, perhaps that's why the upcharge.
