  1. If you put cash deposit down and don't spend it do you get it it back as cash at the end of the cruise?  I know you do on the other lines but was not sure about MSC.  Thanks in advance.

  2. Is Timeless still on Seaside. I heard it was really good and I was looking forward to seeing it.  When I pull up the shows on the app for next month I don't see it listed 😢

  3. We upgraded our drink package from the promotional easy package to the premium. Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many drinks per day you are allowed (I believe on Carnival it's like 12 or 15 but on NCL there is no limit)  Thanks I'm advance guys.

I honestly felt that those who did not like it had already predetermined that they would not like it and found things to complain about.  Is not enough storage really something to complain about and ruin your cruise?  Portions too small, really? Order another one.  Oh yea, I also thought the deep pools were great.  Never too crowded and easy to hang by the side.  One of my favorite ships.  Although, I could have done with a few less Speedos.

Few less speedos....that made me laugh out loud.    Love it

  5. I see nothing wrong with the tone of the OP. Just asking a question which is what these boards are intended for. I think it would be passive-aggressive if the OP addressed it with the TA in a "lazy or lie" manner.
I agree with you completely. I am so sick of people coming on cruise critic and asking simple questions only to get attacked. It's ridiculous honestly. That is what these boards are for. Who cares if it is for 12, 50 or 100 OBC. It was just a simple question. It is not going to stop so I don't even know why I bothered commenting. Now I will sit back and wait for my attacks to begin.....

  6. How does this read to you guys:

Cruises taken as a minor will be credited to the guest on their first cruise taken after they turn 18 years of age

I was just told by NCL that my daughter does not any points for prior cruises as a minor. She starts earning at 18. Am I just reading this wrong? Anyone have any experience with minor going after 18? Did they get prior cruise points?

It is what is if she doesn't but what it says above on the NCL site is misleading and also what I have been told in the past from prior agents.

    Thanks

  7. That isn't something my family remembers about our experience. I assume you mean insects? The monkeys grab, but no they didn't bite. The monkey experience was one of our favorite memories.
Yes it was the insects. Just read somewhere that people have really been getting bit bad.

  8. I have had two really good NCL excursions in Roatan:

    Maya Key:

    1. It is just across from the dock, literally you can see the ship from the private island.
    2. The resort is clean, including restrooms/changing areas
    3. Beach is close to the water
    4. Sweet pool
    5. Includes a really tasty lunch and non alcoholic beverages
    6. Animal rescue results in several different types of animals on display, including an option to get inside a cage with monkeys who literally climb all over you; gorgeous birds and sea lions also on site
    7. We didn't snorkel, but there's area for that
    8. I've worn the t-shirt I bought there for about 3yrs, wears well
    9. Return shuttles throughout the day, so go back whenever you want, you're not stuck there if you want to head back or just explore more in port

Ziplining - NCL excursion, not the option in port

    1. Van ride provided a great tour of Roatan and a chance to hear about life there
    2. I had never done it before and was definitely nervous
    3. Their safety briefing/demonstration calmed me
    4. They fit you with equipment to ensure it is on correctly, meticulous and friendly
    5. Offered to ride with anyone that was really nervous, I did fine solo
    6. Lots of runs, may be a dozen
    7. Photos of you in flight available for purchase
    8. Fun and friendly group of guides
    9. I was almost doing a no hands move by the end, really got comfortable during the excursion

I have checked Ziplining in the jungle off my bucket list, but open to returning to Maya Key.

    1. Definitely a top adventure excursion (ATV in Costa Maya is my other)

Thank you for your reply. We may check out that Maya Key. I heard you get bit up there quite a bit though. True??

  9. We had a pool cabana, and did have food delivered to hold us over until we returned to the ship, chips and salsa or guacamole, and various types of wings. It was very reasonable and actually really good. We brought our Yeti’s, filled with drinks from the ship, out with us. We did wind up buying one drink each at the swim up bar.
    Good idea on the Yeti's
