Thanks .... That solves 2 flights.  The other flight is between South Africa and Istanbul.  Any knowledge about laws in those countries?  

This is my first international trip using the motorized wheelchair.  On calling the airline to find out the procedure.  I was told #1 pay $480 to bring the chair with you.  Have other people also had the same charge for the wheelchair.?

Norwegian cruise line.  Going on a 20 day cruise.  Does Norwegian offer a laundry bag special?  Or is all the laundry by the piece? 

I want to go on the canal tour.  Do I need to reserve a boat ahead of time or are there plenty available?

After the canal ride what other sights should I see within walking distance?  Easy public transportation ride?

As long as the metro station at Rådhuspladsen (where your hotel is) is not open then there is a bit of a walk from the Central station when you have to carry luggage around.

But as I just reported it will probably first open by the end of September.

 

The same answer apply for the second question, you will have to carry your luggage from the hotel to either Vesterport or the central station and then change to a bus at Østerport.

 

You are looking at a 10 minute walk to both stations.

With only 2 days I would stick to Copenhagen and not go the viking ship museum or Frederiksborg Palace/Kronborg castle.

 

But there is plenty to do in Copenhagen.

Amalienborg for the changing of the guards at noon.

Blue Planet Aquarium

The Zoo (now with pandas)

And probably lots of stuff that I have forgotten.

 

 

This looks like a nice list.  We are docking at Oceankaj.  I would like to do the canal tour.  What bus would I take?  After the canal what on the list is within walking distance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wondering how fast paced the Free walking tour would be?  How large are the groups?

We are on Explore of the Sea docking on Aug. 7.  Do you know which pier it will be docking at?

So much wonderful information on this site.  Only sorry we have only 7 hours in port :(  Need to see as much as we can in the limited time.
