What ships is it used on? We'll be on Millie in a few weeks. Thought it would be nice to use to make dinner reservations or check the entertainment schedule.

Great info! Thanks!

We definitely wanted to include the walk down to Nugget Falls while at the Mendenhall Glacier Center.
Planned tours through the ship sounded nice, but everything I read said that if you wanted to see the Falls you might have trouble getting back to the pick up point in time.
I would suggest doing a tour through Juneau Tours called "Juneau City and Mendenhall Glacier Tour" (or something close to that).
We didn't feel a bit rushed. [FYI: We took the hike to the falls and did not get back in time to make the tour's pickup bus. But because they ran later shuttle buses--as promised--it was not a problem for us.]
Oh by the way.....be sure to walk down to the falls. That, in my opinion, is the best part of the Mendenhall Glacier Center experience.
Did you have to pay for the shuttle to take you back to the ship or was that included in the tour? Thanks

Thank you for your thorough & awesome review! DH & I will be on our first celebrity cruise & first Alaska trip this Sept! Did you get a statement of your onboard expenses sent to the room or did you have to request one? Our last cruise on Princess we had to stand in line at guest services in order to get a statement. That was a complaint of mine as I thought they would automatically be sent to the room. Thanks

We're spending one day pre-cruise in Athens & I'm wondering if most of the tourist-y places speak English or should we learn a few Greek words to communicate w/ employees at restaurants, stores, etc? Are menus & signs in English as well? This is my first time in Europe so it's all new to me. Thanks!!

How long does it take? This is one place where your mileage may really vary.
(First, let me just say that there is not a lot of signage at the Acropolis, so bring some kind of guidebook or mp3 tour or similar....)
I can't imagine doing justice to the Acropolis in less than 90 minutes, and if it were me, I'd spend probably an additional hour. But I'm more interested in ancient ruins than your average traveler...
The Acropolis museum is fascinating but it's not large. You could go through it at a moderate pace in an hour, maybe a bit more. They do have good signage here. Again, I'd probably spend about two hours. When I went, I had a guidebook that described every one of the metopes from the Parthenon and I stopped at each one... Not to mention I found the remnants of the earlier temple -- the one that the current Parthenon replaced -- to be equally if not more interesting.
Do yo have any recommendations for guidebooks? This is very helpful info as we have the same itinerary. thanks!

Is it recommended that we purchase tickets for HOHO bus ahead of time or not necessary? We will be there mid-June. thanks!

The crowd at the door quickly gets seated & then there's usually a lull till around 6:15-6:30 when the main crowd arrives to be seated. At this point they begin to hand out beepers & sometime the wait can be 30 minutes or more. This all depends on if you want a table for 2 or not. If your willing to share a larger table it moves much faster.
Good to know - thank you!

If you call in the morning for reservations they only take them between certain hours.
Not during 6:15 & 8 PM.
The reservations aren't really required for the anytime dining room since it's anytime you arrive.
Thank you! Guess we'll just have to make sure we're in line early.

I saw a "Princess@sea" app mentioned but couldn't find it in the app store. If its still avail, do i have my info (the name) correct?
Also i read that some ships allow reservations for the MDR when you have anytime seating. Is this correct and if so, how do you make reservations?
thank you!!

Can you take food off the boat in port? We're doing the Mediterranean cruise in June and thinking of ordering room service for breakfast on early mornings and taking it with us while in port. thanks

Its our first time in Santorini and i'm so torn between renting a car (doing our own thing) and booking a tour. We'd like to see Oia and Fira (of course), a winery and maybe a beach. Its just DH & me and we do like to hike. We're there from 7 am to 7 pm. Any recommendations?? thanks!!

Thank you! It looks like the SeaView bar is outside too?

Is there anywhere to eat outside? We'll be on the Royal in June & I'm under the impression they have the same layout? Thanks

If you like sushi, Wasabi was to-die-for! And cheap prices for sushi, too. My husband & i were not fond of Flamingo Grill. I thought the food was flavorless but i didn't have any of the desserts. We loved Illusionarium - both the food and the show were excellent! Everything we had in the MDRs was delicious. We liked the comedians too. We went back so often that we were hearing repeat sets.
Best way to enjoy Cabo in a day?
