  1. Everyone should dress as they see fit. That being said I enjoy having my wife dress up because I know she appreciates clothing g and I more than appreciate her. I will wear a tuxedo just to bask in her presence and mirror her beauty

  2. Not sure about all the fuss. Was just on a Celebrity cruise in a Royal Suite. We ate at Luminae but could order from the Main Menu as well as from the Blu Menu. We were fine eating in Luminae, not taking up any space in Blu and having what we preferred from any menu. The biggest "problem" was having to wait for a table for 4 for dinner one night in Luminae as we went to an early show and when we showed up at about 8:15 PM there were a number of other gusts waiting. So we had a 15 minute wait. The maître de seemed relatively flustered but we were fine and all had a good time.

  3. You can always rent a tuxedo for the cruise. No need to carry anything extra in luggage and has always worked fine. Can rent the usual black tux or you can have a white jacket if u prefer. Also can lease/rent shoes, another item that you then don't need to pack.

  4. While we always bring an extension cord +/- a power strip, we were told that on the Equinox there was no string to use in the shower to dry things. I get stuff cleaned by the folks on the ship (I mean we are on vacation and who wants to do wash) but my DW has some things that never get sent to the laundry and that she only does by hand. We brought along two 36 inch bungee cords and they worked like a charm. Also we now take a small scale to weigh the luggage. Seems funny to bring extra things to weigh the bags to make sure you don't have too much! Lol. The power strip was needed as there was only one outlet in the room besides an outlet for an electric razor in the lavatory.
