Always remember that reviews are based on travelers' personal opinions. Everyone has different expectations and annoyances. One of my favorite examples was a review for The Flamingo in Las Vegas. In this review, The Flamingo received a very negative review because the Housekeeping staff did not remove a full six pack of beer from the mini-fridge after the previous guests had checked out. This was truly the only complaint. In my opinion, that's a winning trip!

Don't let others' preferences or expectations have any impact on a trip you have planned and are looking forward to. Your experience is yours and your experience alone. With a positive outlook, you can never go wrong!

We were on the Epic for Christmas last year. It was fantastic! The ship is beautifully decorated and the MDRs definitely offered traditional Christmas dinner options. The beach in St. Maarten (on Christmas Day) had Christmas trees scattered among the loungers. The Christmas Eve concert/performance put on by the NCL crew was excellent! I hope you enjoy your Christmas on the Epic as much as we did. (We will be on the Pearl this year!)
