They certainly didn't say it wasn't "allowed" in their reply. They just mentioned not to park on levels 14 or 15 as they are used by "Young Learners". Just wanted to see if anyone had actually done this 😄

I am cruising on Britannia on the 5th September. I have been looking at the Premier Inn nearby to stay overnight before the cruise. The car park nearest to it is the West Quay multi story. It is £5 per day. I have enquired through West Quays website about leaving my car there for the duration of the cruise (and just getting a taxi to the port). They have stated that you collect your ticket on the way in, then just pay for your duration of stay prior to exiting. Has anyone ever done this?

Don't want to hijack this thread, but my wife and I will be sailing on this cruise on 22nd March 2018.
Can anyone tell me if visas are required for any of the ports?
TIA.

Looking forward to reading the rest of your review. I have just booked this itinerary for March 2018. This will be our first time on Mariner of the Seas. I will ask this question here (hoping that you may know), but as UK passport holders, are visas required for any of the ports (I suspect they're not, but would give me something less to worry about :) )

I live in Scotland, so I'm used to changeable weather, sometimes it's rains heavier than others :)
What I meant by the ship not going direct was, I wondered whether it went South to catch some better weather, or whether it went on a straight route to NY.

Forgive me for the Newbie question. I will be sailing Anthem of The Seas TA from Southampton on the 27th October. This is my first TA cruise (and first RCI), and was wondering what weather I should expect from my days at sea. I assume that the path taken by the ship will not be direct to NY, so would it be reasonable to hope for at least some sun/warmth, or should I pack the winter woolies?
Many Thanks,
David.

Fantastic, honest, review and photos. We are sailing TA on Anthem in October, so really looking forward to reading your review of her.
PS. I can see Helensburgh from my house ;)

Late reply I know, but we also used Your Parking Space for a two week cruise. The space was at a nearby University campus and was behind a security barrier (and undercover). Dropped my better half off at the port then walked about 15 minutes (if that) after parking the car. Same on return, I walked over, got the car, returned to port and picked up wife and luggage. Easy Peasy. Can't remember exactly how much it cost, but was significantly less expensive than other car parking options.
