That will be a real shame... on princess in Jan, we use to love Turn down service and chocs on the pillow and fresh towels etc. 

It's the small details that make an overall great impression. 

We had towel art every other day too😍

Hello I'm on the princess sapphire in Feb.

I am in the UK now and have booked most trips privately on the internet with your guides.

I plan on 're confirming all the arrangements just before I leave Heathrow in the Uk.

I don't want to pay for cruise ship internet and I'm not that technical.

In Europe I just turn off my roaming and hook onto free wifi in cafes etc.

Is this possible in the ports please ?

That's terrible! And good for you for not taking part. Too bad everyone else won't follow and this wouldn't happen to the poor animals. I have had to give up the notion of an elephant experience on my upcoming trip also. I want to snuggle them all so much... but not when it comes at a price to these amazing animals.

Google phuket elephant sanctury.... it's amazing and genuine. I follow them on facebook and we will do our own tour to them.at our stop at Phuket.

Can I ask how long we should allow for the 2 flower domes and super trees ?

We were going to see the super trees at night for the show ( the nights before we get on the ship)

We dock mid cruise 7 till 4 so maybe get the mrt to this area for the day ?

We plan to do sanctuary of truth and then go to the floating market. And stop off for photos at the Big Buddha.

We are hiring a car and driver for the day.

Is there anything you might suggest. I know the floating market is for tourists... but it does have dancers and tai boxing demos which I thought would be interesting.

I understand there is a speedboat ride around the sanctuary of truth ... did you see that ?

Our decision has been made for us as RC have cancelled the excursion, refunded our fee and removed it from their website. They haven't said why but I reckon it's on moral grounds 😐

My friends who went to the tiger temple felt they were drugged to keep behaving and not hurting humans etc. Poor things 😣

Will there be market stalls etc at dock?

I was on a Princess cruise last year which called at Phu My. You can walk straight off the ship, market stalls set up alongside and a very short walk through the gates. Cannot tell you how far to get to town itself, I think it is right there as I was on a tour to Cu Chi tunnels which left as soon as we arrived and got back just before we left. Enjoy your day. The prices at the Market Stalls go down, they are cheap to start with, the closer it gets to the ship leaving!! Surprising......

As this is an all girls ( no hubby's or kids ) 50 year birthday adventure.

If we needed to move to help another person or people get a room they need...we would be happy to.

I would recommend doing it once. We really enjoyed seeing it all and hearing so many details that makes a ship function, especially the time on the bridge and then refreshments with the Captain in his conference room.

Even though the robe is very nice, it is very bulky and heavy. We had no desire for the chef jacket. If they could give reduce the tour price by permitting a person to choose from one or the other or neither, I believe that would be a very good option.

I absolutely agree.

After all, you would hope they would consider all guests needs.

And many passengers will fly with a weight restriction.

We are hoping princess will do a tour to the proper elephant sanctuary just out of Phuket. Sadly at the moment the one they offer a trip to, has terribly cruel and shocking feedback. So I wouldn't consider going !

In the UK our travel agent said to go to the customer service desk and have the tips removed within 24 hrs of boarding.

Then she suggested we tipped who we wanted to.
