Can DH bring on work out supplements such as pre work out powder and protein powder for shakes? These are over the counter items you can order online or get from GNC. If so would you check these items or carry on? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Our travel agent took care of this for us so if you are using a travel agent and want the kids together just let them know and they can take care of it from the start for you. Shouldn't be an issue for them to do it if you are using one.

Yes we have two connecting promenade rooms booked for next Saturday on Freedom. Our boys are 17 & 14. I have read on here several times either is ok connecting or across.

We are booked with Bernard's tours for the second time. You can check them out online and see if any of their reasonably priced tours are anything you are interested in but you wouldn't be able to do that and the things you already have booked. We make several stops on the French and Dutch side with a stop at Maho beach and Orient beach. Just a suggestion to take a look at.

Hi all I am looking to hire a car preferably from dollar from Miami cruise port cruising with NCL I can only see selecting on dollar for airport pick up anyone used dollar recently do they provide a free shuttle to the airport to collect your vehicle

This is from my print off as I have a van reserved from Port Everglades after our cruise. Read the pick up instructions part. It specifically states Port Everglades and there is no shuttle service to the airport. When I read your post it made me worry oh no but all should be ok.

I did a special needs request prior to my recent Freedom cruise and a foam topper was on my bed when I arrived, very comfy mattress and bedding.

Clothes steamers (any size) are on the prohibited list. Some people report good results with Downy Wrinkle Releaser.

That's right! I worried the first cruise, but others are slightly wrinkled as well. If you're in a grand suite, the concierge MAY be able to do some pressing for you. Alas...I just travel in balconies.

No steamers! You can do the old "hang 'em in the shower & turn it on hot" and try & steam them out.

I'd also like to say thank you for the LIVE review. We are sailing in March and our kids don't have a clue. They will on Christmas. Have several friends going and 4 are first timers and I can't wait to see their faces in awe. Thank you for taking the extra time to post the wine menus for me that was so kind and appreciated. How is saving $8 such an excellent deal on an $800 purchase? Did I miss something?

Because they got internet included which they didn't have before. So they saved $8 on their original purchase plus now have internet!! Great deal!!

Yep I just did the same thing. Cancelled my 3 drink packages for Feb 5 2017 Oasis and grabbed 3 drink packages plus voom 1 device for about $10 less than what I paid before. Not much for internet on a cruise but it will be nice to be able to text each other on the ship

Has anyone ever had an issue with them refunding you quickly, I don't really want to tie up too much money on drink packages at the moment?

Thanks so much for your help everyone! Sounds like Freedom is the winner hands-down except for maybe a few extra people. I'm flying from Nashville (warm weather climate), but the first flight out isn't until 9:10 (direct getting in at 12:25) so I'm not sure where the plane would be coming from.

 

There is another direct (11:20-2:30 and Freedom doesn't sail til 5:30) so I should be okay.

We fly from Nashville also and we are taking a Spring Break cruise so you can imagine the cost of airfare. I had checked the morning SW opened the dates to cover our travel and for 4 it was $1700 yikes but by the time I got home from work they had went up $700 OMG we were panicking. A friend and I started quick searching and found it $400 cheaper to not do round trip. We will fly in to FLL but on return we will self disembark and have a rental at Port Everglades with $$$ and will drive 1 hr 30 to Ft. Myer and save $400 with a rental fee to fly back home from there. Might check there, never know. We have to drive a little ways but to save $400 even with a rental fee we can drive less than 2 hours, well worth it for us. You may want to check flights to Fort Myers to see if its cheaper that route.

This will be our fist time Royal Caribbean. Was just wondering if there is any 24 hr. dining other than room service. The only post I could find was from 2008 and I know things change often on ships. Any info would be great.

Also room service is available 24/7 but during certain late night hours there is a fee during that time frame otherwise free.
