  1. Agreed call carnival and get a group rate and block. Carnival vacation planner will prepare an email for your guest. You can create a wedding website on a bride site for free and copy the information. On your save the date cards just indicate the date. You can include comment to check the site to attend your destination wedding.

  2. Stingray Sailing limits the amount of people on their excursions to 25, I believe. So it is not crowded at all. You will see some boats out there jam packed with people! Not Stingray Sailing! One of the reasons we booked with them twice.

As far as seating- yes, it is shaded, but as far as Comfort- meh. It is just a bench. Not padded or anything. Nothing a sitting on a few towels can't fix!

It is a great tour!! And Captain Chip is the best!

    Thanks

  3. Hello, I am looking for a private or less crowded than the cruise ship charter tour to sting ray. Does the stingray sailing company have comfortable and shaded seating. I ask as traveling with older Uncle.

Please also share any other private booking charters.

  4. Just contacted them about prices - their response: $2/entry fee plus $12 per lounger and $15 per umbrella - 1st come 1st served.

I was curious since there will be 6 ships in port when we are there and I definitely need shade/umbrella. Given that we are 4 people seems to be most economical/logical to get the poolside cabana at $75 to ensure shade/seating for everyone! Also means I can reserve in advance and be assured of shade and loungers :)

    Thanks for the detailed response.

  5. We went to Reggae in January. No pig, but the best pina coladas on our trip. :-) Bar and food service on the beach, and you can get an aloe massage under the trees. The only slightly annoying thing was two different massage ladies in competition with each other "fighting" over my husband and who he was going to choose for his massage. :D

Beautiful drive there, lots of wild monkeys. We also rented a two-person kayak and paddled around and enjoyed the views of Nevis and pretended we were working off our conch fritters that we had for lunch.

Did you go on your own and take a taxi from the cruise port to Reggae Beach ? If so any issues ? Can you rent chairs and umbrellas. Thanks

  6. A few years ago, Lawrence dropped us @ Valley Church after the tour.

It's nice, but gets crazy crowded. Was there again last month, we got there early (9:30, 10 ish) and it was beautiful. By the time we left (2 ish) it was packed.

I personally prefer Turners, it's further from town, past Jolly and VCB, just as nice, and less crowded. I took the bus there and back, but the cabbie did say this time that it would cost more to go there since it was farther.

VCB was $8.00 per person each way.

Is it easy to catch a cab to VCB to the beach and for the return to the cruise port. I am just nervous about trying to venture off on my own and getting stuck anywhere
