I apologize as I did not save the the dailies ...

This was a great cruise, BTW.

Only issue we had was the (only) Laundry special (19.95 all you can stuff in a bag) was two days into the cruise, so that did not work out very well. We contacted customer service, and were told there would be two specials, but that did not happen. We got by, but had to hand wash a couple of items :)

I was on recent 10 day Panama Canal cruise. The Lounge acts generally play all over the ship.

- Energy Plus: Primarily Caribbean, Reggae etc and also disco and 50's/60's as needed, played alot pool side, but in Spinnaker also.

- Avalon: Primarily played in Atrium, latin type dance music

- Cant remember name, but a Violin/Cello duo that played in Atrium and I think Magnum's lounge (below Lotus Garden, next to Le Bistro)

- Part of in house orchestra played in Atrium some also

Trying to plan how much clothes to pack for 10 Day Panama Canal Cruise, Question:

Does NCL offer laundry special once or twice during this cruise ?

I like pretty much everything about cruising, but probably the biggest thing that brings me back is anticipation of the sea days where I wake up with no responsibilities and nothing to do, and can just explore ship and enjoy the day :)

How about some nice chilled fruit soup with a little vanilla soft serve ice cream mixed in?? :D

Wow, that seems like great idea :)

Part of the fun in preparing for cruise (at least for me) is starting packing, and given limitations on what you can carry, airlines, etc, packing requires some strategy :)

Im curious how many days ahead of time others start packing ??

I Assume length of cruise has some impact.

Curious, if I pay for cruise as a gift to friends/family, is it possible to have the latitudes points for family applied to my account ?

I would also be cruising on same sailing, but would purchase separate cabin for others.

I am curious how the Rental Car service works at Pier 66 ....

It appears the actual downtown Alamo location is on 3rd avenue, but is there a shuttle from the Pier to the car location ? Is the pickup point (or Kiosk) relatively close to where you disembark (in case we have heavy luggage :) ) ?

I was on the 11/29 Getaway sailing ... best cruise ever, the food was all very good, entertainment wonderful, and we thought the ship was very well designed.

I did not see "Smallest Bar" mentioned, its on Duval I believe toward north end. It does not take long to experience smallest bar :)
