This letter is all good and well. Thanks for posting teknoge3k! Good info. But.....what about people like wife & I not sailing until Sept. 13? And, we've not received any emails from Carnival. My hopes are quickly diminishing, and I'm mister optimism! LOL
You will not for awhile yet. They are dealing with couple of weeks to a month at a time. This is hopefully a temporary thing as said in letter.. Wait and see what happens with virus in next month or so . We are also sailing in Sept. It is a wait and see thing for now.

Carnival is planning halloween activities for the entire month this year. Costume parades, trivia, carving competitions, deck party, etc. More people than normal are going to dress up this year.

Late show is at 10:15Thank you for such a complete review. Very helpful. We will be on Carnival Conquest on April 22 sailing and I have many questions. Would appreciate any help posters here can give.I can't seem to find info on the Carnival site about the wine package. Can someone point me to it, please? You can purchase 3 or five bottles in different tiers of pricing starting at around $99. Google Carnival wine packages. you can purchase this first day on ship
Are all non-main dining room restaurants additional cost like chef's Table? Do we have to reserve for them or just line up? Chef's table, steakhouse are additional charge. You can book online on Carnival Manage my booking or the first day of your cruise when you get on board
At what time do shows usually start? By the time we booked, the only available dining time was 8:15 and I'm wondering if that will preclude our seeing the major shows.

On our cruise in February they had an eighties rock and glow party on the Wednesday of our cruise.

Love the steak and eggs at Sea day Brunch.

Just off the Feb. 3rd, 8 night super bowl sailing. Loved the choice of food in the daytime and almost everything else about the cruise. This was a full boat and the pools were crowded on sea days.
We were in a second deck aft. cabin and felt the motion on this ship more than any other ship I have been on. If you are the least bit prone to sea sickness look into the patch or take your ginger or Dramamine before cruising and daily while on board. Even 50 plus time cruisers we were with felt the swaying.

A few serenity deck photos. Aft. pool is still adults only. Was a huge 25th anniversary Super Bowl group on our recent cruise. Was busy on sea days

Does anyone have the FUN TIMES for the Conquest 8 day itinerary - Princess Cay/Grand Turk/Sea Day / Curacao/Aruba/ Sea Day/Sea Day -
I would love to see all of the days ........but the day I am most interested in is Curacao. I would like to see what the ship activities are for that day. We were considering getting off the boat and walking around after dinner but we don't want to miss certain shows.
Shows night of Curacao were Hasbro Game Show 8pm and Love and Marriage 9:45 on our recent 8 day Conquest

Finally figured it out. A few pictures of serenity area. Just off the Conquest Super Bowl Cruise

Just off of the Conquest Sunday. If you try to go between 6 and 7 a couple of nights we had to wait, up to about an hour on one formal night. But they do have the hand held pager system down pat on this ship.
-
On the superbowl cruise was told that the formal nights would be Monday and Friday. Most of the time the first formal night is Sunday.

Yes you can get special teas with the cheers package.
-
Most Carnival ships have afternoon tea from 3 to 4 on sea days.
Slot machines take bills.
-
Go to google and google weddings on Carnival ships. You will find some pictures and videos and information
-
You can also ask for fresh fruit for dessert. They always have a sugar free dessert and you can always get a scoop of sherbet and fruit. Plenty of good options in dining room
-
Kale salad, or arugula or green salad is always one of the choices in apps. You can always get fish or salmon, grilled chicken as your protein and yes you can get extra veggies. Just ask the are pretty accommodating. You can get one of the salads as a meal with protein added. Have done this on past cruises.

I know people on the Conquest now. The were not showing the games Sunday at all. Had many complaints and ended up showing in the sports bar only as far as I know. Were ensured that the Superbowl would be on with special drinks and sailgate party. Was told they were going to show the college game on the big screen last night.

Just got off the Victory. It is a window and the menu doesn't change much daily. Is usually chicken, lamb or pork, vegetable dish, glass noodles, rice and spring rolls. You order what you want and they plate it

The cruise made it to Bermuda as scheduled. My best friends are onboard and it has been a bumpy ride. Some sick people. Hot and drizzly in Bermuda today.

Staff will be serving at buffet and ice cream, etc.
More screening before boarding
Sailing at less capacity
Less people in theatre(may have to have a booking system)
1/2 of the chairs removed from the deck
Total enforcement of arrival times at port
Handwashing stations at entrance to all food venues and sanitizer
Rooms will be cleaned twice a day
More cleaning around ship of railings and high touch areas
Hotter water used to wash things
Some ships are talking about disposable menus
Talking about more automatic doors or foot openers for washrooms
Hospitals on board will be higher staffed and ships need to have an isolation area
Talking about having a day between sailings so less people at terminal and to clean ship better and more time to get off
May have to have two muster drills?
Some of the changes I have been hearing of.
