  1. We were also on this cruise and we thought it was fantastic, the food was great, we ate mainly in the windjammer only due to the very short tempered waiter we were assigned .

We ate lobster at least six times which was a surprise !

Perry Grant made it for us, we had never seen him before and thoroughly enjoyed his show he was hilarious .

I agree the promenade shows were rather like Butlins and not a patch on the similar ones on the Independence last year .

  2. On returning home from cruises I have suffered !

Once with swine flu which meant nearly three months, feeling dreadful, and the next time swollen ankles which Gp said was due to over salted food and the water onboard .

I think the restrooms are the main source of infection , whilst I stand at the basin washing thoroughly , it never fails to amaze me how may women just walk out the door bypassing the basins .

THESE ARE THE PEOPLE I WOUKD PUT THE INITIALS DH AFTER

  3. You can get the National express straight down to Brighton which stops at POOL VALLEY and spend a night in a premier Inn or even a hotel on the seafront perhaps The Albion , all walking distance with a case ! which is so central and reasonably priced its about 90 miles south of London ,and Southampton is about another 90 miles west straight along the coast , you could take the train to the port . And Southampton has got some greats shops at West Quay, but forgive me for saying its a bit of a run down place best to sail away asap !!! lol

  4. Premier inn waterloo is a great choice , there is a fantastic restaurant directly opposite, and you are central to walk to all the sights , National express is the cheapest and most reliable you can get, maybe get that from LHR too:).Stonehenge is a long drive to see a heap of stones stuck in the middle of the country that you cant even touch! , stay in London or come to Brighton that's far more fun !!:D

  5. I returned from The Independence transatlantic on Saturday the 20th April, two days prior to this I noticed my feet were swollen ,by Sunday I was in agony with what felt to me like cellulitis ,I ended up in hospital had all the tests for dvt etc, all ok .

I do have high blood pressure so they have presumed that this is what has caused it and promptly put me on water pills ......that has not worked ,the pain, shininess and heat are unbearable ,I found this thread and went and bought compression socks which helped for as long as I could keep them on !!which was not long .

I was nearly immobile ,so went back to the gp he has doubled my heart pills and also the water pills ,still no different :(,however in desperation I got the cherry capsules advised on here and I must say the pain has gone and I can at least walk around ,its been 3 weeks now and I still have fat feet !!

Whilst on the cruise I too drank water, not much alcohol, and always limited the ice in drinks ,I hope it goes soon ??

  6. I used it in the 80s!! and also became a rep for Herbalife but only sold it to my nursing colleagues .

For me it worked fantastically well, although looking back I was not fat !!

I only had the shake once a day and the supplements three times daily and that worked for me , everyone is different .

One of my friends who unfortunately was fat ! also swore by it she became very slim too .

Try it .........you only have weight to lose !!:)
