  1. Ate there twice. That was enough. A lot of the food was getting mixed together with the salads on either side. No one seemed to be monitoring the cross contamination of the buffet dishes. It was soooo crowded. Not a very pleasant atmosphere to be dining in. We went to the MDR instead. It worked for most of our meals,

  2. It’s unfortunate that a big city like Vancouver has no Uber. Most Vancouveries are not to happy about it. Your best bet if you can handle your luggage is the sky train. Faster, cheaper and less time. It’s about 24 min from the airport to waterfront station. Good part about the sky train is NO TRAFFIC. You have a couple very short right hand turns totalling about a block when you exit at waterfront. Cost is minimal

  3. Most of our cruises have been with a Celebrity. The Food has always been very good for the most part. Took our first RCCL trip with all the family this March. I thought the food was clearly not at the same level. I was rather disappointed. Food seemed to be thrown on plate, messy, sauces were terrible. Not sure RCCL is even close to Celebrity

  4. On Eclipse in Feb for 14 days. Found the food very good. well presented, tasty and cooked to order. I. March we sailed on Allure of the Sea. I must say, I was so disappointed. The main meat dishes were never cooked to order, every meat dish was over cooked. Most dishes seemed to be thrown todether. I think that celebrity wins hands down in the food department.

  5. We are a couple in our mid to upper sixties. We left Fort lauderdale early morning on the express freeway. Had a wonderful drive down to key west. Got their for lunch, went to hemmingways, strolled all around for several hours. Stopped for dinner in Islamorada.Arrived home around 8:30. Was a wonderful day. We were so happy we just went ahead and did it, because everyone said don't do it, to long a drive, too far to go. I loved the scenic drive. Best to pay and go on express lanes.

  6. We took the train from termini. Was very straight forward. Got to civi went inside station and on the right is a booth/store to buy ticket to the port shuttle. Went outside the station, bus was waiting (make sure you ask the driver if this is the bus to the port) one bus is comming and one is going. After a very short ride we got on the port shuttle and we had arrived. The train trip was lovely, scenic and stress free. The civi station seemed very small, so a lot less hectic than termini. Give yourselfs a lot of time to get around termini. It is a very busy, huge place, but signs are well displayed. We fortunately only had carry one luggage, so it made it much easier

  7. On our last cruise I had my husband wear these bandaids they make for the nose. They worked so well, that I actually got to sleep. We also like wax earplugs as they soften with the heat of your hand as you insert them. They never fall out either as they are moulded to the shape of your ear.

  8. I have been to both. I prefer Old Lahaina. I think the overall show, and setting is much nicer at old Lahaina. I really didn't like some of the food offered at feast of lele. I guess I really preferred at buffet. The selection is outstanding at Old Lahaina.

  9. If you have time I would suggest going on a water taxi across to Granville island. It is a wonderful place for lunch, scenery is so beautiful with all the boats coming and going. I would forgo Chinatown. Over the years it has become run down. It certainly not what it used to be. Grouse mountain, capilano suspension bridge, and Stanley park are all worth a visit.

  10. We have a Canadian issued USA master card. It has become very handy. In Fort Lauderdale for example, most of the parking meters take credit cards, some only credit cards or phone. There are several banks that do not charge for the card. It is very convenient to have. T.D, Royal offer them

  11. Here is my list. It is no wonder I have to keep moving at all times to burn of those calories. I am so greatful for the gym, the stairs, and lap circuit. Otherwise I would have a huge problem when I got back home. I love most of the dessert that are offered in the specialty coffee stand. The coconut cake, the black/white cookies, the cheesecake. They are quite good. I love the ice cream offered in the buffet. I really like the candies that are available in little cups. Love M & M's. Found out they get 4 bags of m & m's a day, once they are gone. Too bad. Made a bee line for them every afternoon. Truth be told. I had my husband in line behind me for extra. He hates candy.
