  1. Hi! First time RCI cruiser - I usually cruise with NCL!

This cruise is with my mom (1st cruise) and 2 year old (2nd cruise).

A couple questions I'd love help with:

Are drink cards usually offered on 5 day cruises? If so, what day?

I know there are no baby sitting services for 2 year olds, is there a "play room" we can take him to so we can play?

I've read about toys to take back to the room, is this offered on the Majesty?

    Are there any character appearances?

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

  2. I will be traveling in two months with my 6 month old! We are doing a 4 day trip to the Bahamas. We are not planning any excursions - usually I have plan A, B, and C outlined for everyday! Instead we are going to have late breakfasts, hang out by the splash pad (we are bringing an inflatable pool), and relax. We are only going to Nassau and GSC (NCL Epic) so if we want to get off and explore we can... or we can enjoy a ship to ourselves! I am looking forward to the Guppy activities and am holding out hope that we meet another young couple with a youngster - we always meet the best people on cruises.

  3. Did you stay at Disney's Vero Beach on the way down? Where in Vero did you eat? We'll be there for two nights in Feb prior to our Breeze cruise.

I am from Vero Beach! Waldos/Driftwood Inn is a wonderful restaurant/hotel located on the beach; high end to moderate prices, wonderful food, and a great little piece of Vero Beach's history. Riverside Cafe is on the mainland but located on the Indian River; again, a bit pricey but worth the cost.

  4. I also just returned from the Epic. The show was incredible, we did sit in the premium seating above the stage. I didn't care for the food, at all. My boyfriend, who eats anything (even my cooking), took a few bites of each item and ordered room service later. We both agreed that we would have paid the same amount for the show and some popcorn or cotton candy.

  5. My BF and I went on the Mini Speed Boat excursion last February. It was the highlight of our cruise for him. We are going to be back in Cozumel next week and he is still begging me to book it again.

The facility was quite and in great condition, very clean. The staff are fantastic, very helpful to those in the group that had difficulties with parts of the excursion. The pool had a wonderful swim up bar. Loungers were spread around the pool area for relaxation after the mini boats.

The mini boats were all in great condition and could really handle a beating. The tour leader guided us along the coastline, with another guide in the rear in case there were any problems (there were no mechanical problems on our trip). He was also the photographer for the trip. The guides do a great job walking you through the safety precautions, hand signals, ect. and practice them when first entering the boat.

We drove the coastline until we could see the cruise ships (30+/-) minutes, we were then given the opportunity to switch drivers (we didn't switch, he was enjoying himself way too much).

When we arrived back to the beach club there was an awesome hot lunch prepared (vegetarian options, as well) - everything was fantastic (included in excursion). After a few margaritas (not included in excursion price) we decided to venture down a small walking trail. The trail led to a small freshwater lagoon, complete with a sunbathing crocodile. He was as shocked as we were, nap time ruined!

    I definitely recommend this excursion.
