I know that others will provide more details on where to stop, but I've heard that you want to go all the way in so that you're sure to be able to get seats. Especially since there are not many buses all the way to Wonder Lake.

My father and I turned around at Tolkat River because we were there early in the season and it was as far as the shuttles were running. We had took a half hour or so walk on the road before getting on our return bus.

I've heard good things about the trails around the Eislen (sp?) Visitors center.

One big difference is that Costa Maya has a dock while Belize City is a tender port, and a nearly 20 minute tender if I recall correctly.

Loved my day at Caye Caulker, but would probably go back to Costa Maya if I had the chance.

Was at Vasa yesterday and saw 6 lockers which would easy fit an airline roll-aboard. Probably 18 "wide x 30 " x. 50 "deep.

I recommend getting there early. Had the place to myself at 8:45 and it was crowded by 9:45. Also if they show the film in another language with English subtitles it's easy to follow.
