  1. We did a minisuite on the Regal in February... with my daughter and adult granddaughter.  The beds were converted to twins, and I had the twin on the pullout. It worked ok for the three of us, but I think 4 would be too many.

  2. We did a b2b on the Royal in February 2017. When we booked the cruise, we booked the same room for both cruises, so we didn't have to move. The cruise was out of Fort Lauderdale. We met in the theatre, and we did have to get off the ship, but it was quick and painless. We sat on chairs in the terminal, had our passports checked and went back on board before general boarding. We kept the same cruise cards as it was booked as a 20-day cruise.

  3. I agree the best $20 ever spent. We used it out of Fort Lauderdale the last 4 years. For Fort Lauderdale, your flight has to be after 11:30 am. Boarding passes are delivered the night before debarkation, no luggage to take thru customs and no lines to check luggage at the airport. You can go right thru security. Luggage has always been at our home airport on arrival. It is a great service. This year, however, we did not get the forms to our stateroom. We had to ask for them at Guest Relations. They will also ask for a copy of your flight itinerary.

  4. This is very interesting and such good recommendations and ideas. We also got off the Eclipse on Feb 8. There were 4 of us in a small van taxi. When we were almost to the airport he told us he forgot to turn the meter on, although one of our group clearly saw him adjusting it as we got in the cab. His told us his fare was $20. We paid it, plus tip. Now wish we had not tipped him as it looks like we also got ripped off. Taking the cell phone picture is a great idea.

  5. I think you will make the flight. We have done walk off the last 2 years and were at the airport by 830 am and through security with no problem. Our flights were at 1130 am, and we waited at the gait for 2-1/2 hours. We found security not vey busy at 830 in the morning. Delays are always possible, but from past experience you will have enough time.

  6. We were on the jan 26 cruise on Eclipse and agree with your review. It was a wonderful 2 weeks, and we have already booked for next year. We ate in the MDR and found the food to be excellent. A beautiful ship and a great crew.
